About this project
What does Panels (Decoration) add?
The Panels mod adds a new type of block meant to expand the building possibilities for all stone blocks. Panels are the same size and shape as trapdoors, but they do not open/close. They can be placed on any block face, and some have directional textures based on the orientation of the player when placing them. They can be crafted in a crafting table with three of the corresponding block arranged vertically, or put in a stonecutter.

This is an updated version of an originally unreleased mod I made for 1.20.1, that I intended to level the playing field between wood and stone variants for building purposes. The game now has shelves for wood, so it may be something I revisit in the future with another block type that fills a similar size niche to those.
