About this project
What does PackForge Tools add?
**PackForge Tools** replaces ordinary tools with a **real smithing chain**: every tool is made part by part, and how well you forge it matters.
Features
- 🪓 **Carving table & chisel** — carve the patterns of each tool part.
- 🔥 **Brick forge & bellows** — heat metal to the right temperature (coal 1000 °C, coke 1400 °C, blaze 1700 °C, +300 with bellows). Hold hot metal with **tongs**.
- 🔨 **Smith's anvil** — a timing mini-game sets the **quality** of each part (stats ×0.8 to ×1.2). A **quench tank** adds +10 quality.
- 🫗 **Crucible & sand molds** — cast big parts (more than 4 ingots) and molten glass.
- ⚙ **Every ingot and alloy of the pack is a material**, each with its own stats per part.
- ⛏ **Tools & weapons** — pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, sword, katana, shuriken, hammers 3×3 / 5×5 / 7×7, excavators.
- 📈 **Tools level up** (10 levels): at each level you **choose an enchantment**, even beyond vanilla caps. At the last level, a tool can become **Unbreakable**.
- 💔 A broken tool is not lost: it stops working until you repair it.
- 🧟 **Mob gear** (config file): mobs can spawn with forged weapons and armor, by group, chance and health.
- 🗂 **Retired tools** (config file): modpacks can disable other tools so players use the forge.
Made for the PackForge workshop, used in **N-Tech Nexus**.
