About this project
What does Mousecraft add?
Mousecraft
Moissanite, cheese, and mice for Minecraft Java 26.3.
**Needs:** Fabric Loader 0.19 or newer. Nothing else.
**Works with:** Sodium, Iris and shader packs.
**Works on:** singleplayer and Fabric servers. Not Realms.
What you get
- **Moissanite ore.** As rare and as deep as diamond, with a deepslate variant. Diamonds are not reduced.
- **Mouse gear.** Diamond-level tools and armor with mouse ears. Tools mine 20% faster. Each armor piece makes you 5% faster.
- **Nethermouse gear.** Upgrade Mouse gear at a smithing table with a netherite upgrade.
- **Cheese ore.** Veins like redstone, and it also spawns higher up (to y 64). Drops Cheese Morsels.
- **Cheese food.** Morsels, Blocks of Cheese (placeable), and Blocks of Sharp Cheddar.
- **Cheese gear.** Between iron and diamond. You can eat it when you are hungry. Mobs that hit you knock morsels off it.
- **Cheese Golems.** A carved pumpkin on a T of Cheese Blocks or Sharp Cheddar. They guard like iron golems, heal with cheese, and drop Cheese Ingots.
- **Cheese Iron.** Smelt Sharp Cheddar into an ingot that works like iron in every recipe. The tool and armor shapes make orange Cheese Iron gear.
- **Mice.** Wild mice live in dark caves near cheese ore. Mouse gear calls mint helper mice that fight for you.
- **Cheese potions.** Brew Awkward Potion + Sharp Cheddar. "Cheesed" sends mice after the drinker. The Mouse Potion makes you mouse sized and halves the damage you deal. Splash and long versions of both, and Cheese- and Mouse-Tipped Arrows.
- **19 paintings.** Mice, cheese, and contributors.
Install
- Install Fabric Loader for 26.3.
- Put the jar in your
modsfolder. - Play. No resource pack needed.
Notes
- New ores only generate in new chunks.
- Mousecraft changes the vanilla biome files to add its ores. Other mods or data packs that also replace vanilla biome files can remove the ores.
- Everything is in the creative menu (search for "cheese" or "mouse").
