About this project

What does heavy_copper add?

Heavy Copper — makes your useless scrap copper worth something.

2 Copper Blocks → 1 Heavy Copper Ingot

Mining level and defense are the same as iron; durability is lower than iron.

Tools and weapons: even a direct attack lands a critical hit.

Wearing all 4 heavy copper armor pieces: permanent Slowness I (does not stack with other Slowness).

All of them can be enchanted with Channeling: an enchanted tool calls down lightning when it attacks; with enchanted armor, lightning damage you take is passed in full to hostile mobs within 24 blocks.

**Heavy Copper Anvil(**You can repair it with 15 Heavy Copper Ingots.)

Crafted from 3 Heavy Copper Blocks + 4 Heavy Copper Ingots (exactly the same layout as the vanilla anvil).

Every vanilla anvil feature.

Chance to take one damage stage per use: 12% → 4% (about 3 times as durable).

★ All of the heavy copper anvil features only work on the Heavy Copper Anvil: the heavy copper upgrade, the Heavy Copper Upgrade Template, Channeling books for upgraded gear, and the lightning needle for helmets; a vanilla anvil keeps vanilla behaviour only.

Heavy Copper Upgrade

Put "weapon / armor piece + 3 Heavy Copper Ingots" into a Heavy Copper Anvil → upgraded gear:

Lets your gear take on the traits of heavy copper equipment.

Upgradable: sword / axe / bow / crossbow / any armor.

Netherite gear has to be upgraded with the Heavy Copper Upgrade Template; diamond gear that has been heavy copper upgraded can no longer be upgraded into netherite gear.

8 Heavy Copper Blocks + 1 Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template

Lightning Needle

Attach it to any helmet in a Heavy Copper Anvil.

Under open sky: a 10% chance to be struck by lightning every 30 seconds (50% during thunderstorms); after 60 strikes the needle burns out and disappears.

Bell of Discipline

Carried in your inventory, it rings on its own: 3 rings at nightfall and 2 rings at dawn; right-click to ring it manually.

Volley (crossbow-only enchantment, I~III)

I: 1 free extra arrow after the main arrow.

II: 2 extra arrows.

III: your crossbow goes full-auto — long right-click to toggle it on, tap to fire a single shot, hold to fire continuously (1 shot every 18 ticks); accepts Infinity / Power; cannot load firework rockets.

Book + 3 Heavy Copper Ingots + Multishot enchanted book + Ink Sac

II = 2 Volley I books + 3 Diamonds

III = 2 Volley II books + 3 Netherite Ingots

I also added 2 enchantments:

Other-Blood Forge: melee weapons only; it makes enemies bleed and repairs the weapon's durability; its enchanted book only comes from high-risk structure chests (End City / Ancient City / Woodland Mansion) at 1% per chest — then apply it to your weapon in a Heavy Copper Anvil.

Vigor Mending: trades hunger for durability (1 hunger = 10 durability); its enchanted book comes from common chests at 3% per chest, and rarely from fishing.
