Muskets, cannons and sailing ships for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge). Load your flintlock, fight pirates, and take to the sea.

Weapons

• Muskets and flintlock pistols with realistic reloading: lead ball, paper cartridge and gunpowder.

• Bayonets, cannons and powder-based explosives.

The Living World

• Musketeer forts, pirate villages and cavalry patrols.

• Caravans, arms dealers and merchants with a reputation system.

• Contracts and hireable mercenaries who follow you into battle.

• Blackbeard, ghost ships and their cursed crews at night.

Ships

Build and sail three ships at the Shipyard:

• Sloop: fast and nimble, 6 cannons.

• Brig: sturdier, bigger hold, more cannons.

• Frigate: three masts, 16 cannons on two gun decks, the toughest ship afloat.

Every ship has a hold, seats, a bunk (respawn point) and an anchor.

Sailing

• Dynamic wind: set your sails to catch it, and watch the wind rose and speed in knots on the helm HUD.

• Real momentum: ships accelerate slowly and only turn while moving. Drop the anchor to pivot.

• Storms tear your rigging, so reef your sails or run for port.

• Run aground or ram another ship and feel the hull crack.

Naval combat

• Four ammo types: round shot (hull), chain shot (sails), grapeshot (crew), incendiary shot (fire).

• Aim with right click, fire with left click.

• Fires spread across the deck. Put them out with a water bucket.

• Board enemy ships with G, defeat the crew and take the ship as your own.

• Sunk ships leave a wreck on the seabed.

• Army and pirate patrols roam the seas and fight each other.

Good to know

• Everything is configurable, and configs update automatically between versions.

• No other mods required.
