About this project
What does Gamking's World Start add?

Ever thought, "Man, my world doesn't open with a cinematic cutscene to create lore."?
If so, I've got just the mod for you!
This is Gamking's World Start, a mod that upon joining a world, allows you to pick a worldwide difficulty, aswell as a starting kit for yourself, all going along with a cinematic to being your immersion with the world!
You are introduced to the world with a small set of text before encountering a difficulty select screen, which allows you to choose what difficulty you may want to set your world to, and then a starter gear kit!
For those of you worried, this mod is completely customizable through the use of datapacks! An example format can be found below.

For those who want to change the cinematic you recieve at the start, create a resource pack with this file directory.
assets -> (namespace) -> introjourney_cinematics -> (cinematic)
{
"name": "Name",
(determines how many ticks it takes for the cutscene to fade in)
"fade_in_ticks": 50,
(determines how many ticks are needed to load the player model in)
"player_visible_from": 0,
"keys": [
(example provided, can run as many or few ticks as you want.
pitch offset is from the player, is the horizontal camera change,
the pitch is the vertical (from the player's direction), and tick
is the tick value)
{ "tick": 0, "offset": [0, 3, 0], "yaw": 0, "pitch": 90 },
{ "tick": 100, "offset": [0, 1.62, 0], "yaw": 0, "pitch": 0 },

{ "tick": 360, "offset": [0, 10, 15], "yaw": 0, "pitch": 10 },
{ "tick": 420, "offset": [0, 11, 16], "yaw": 0, "pitch": 8 },
{ "tick": 510, "offset": [3.5, 6, 8], "yaw": 115, "pitch": 38 },
{ "tick": 600, "offset": [0, 2.1, 3.4], "yaw": 206, "pitch": 12 }
],
"lines": [
(align certain text messages with message, usage of player name requires
a lang file)
{ "start": 70, "end": 170, "text": "intro.introjourney.line1" },
{ "start": 190, "end": 320, "text": "intro.introjourney.line2" },
{ "start": 350, "end": 450, "text": "intro.introjourney.line3" },
{ "start": 490, "end": 590, "text": "intro.introjourney.line4" }
]
}
Any custom text would require a registry in a lang file.
For those who want to change the dialogue you recieve at the start, create a resource pack with this file directory.
assets -> introjourney -> lang -> (languageyouwant)
ID's for change for those who want to.
