About this project
What does Compass HUD add?
Compass HUD
A clean compass bar above your hotbar, inspired by modern games.
Features
- Cardinal directions: N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW scroll as you turn.
- Player heads: players tracked in Xaero's Minimap appear on the compass in their direction, with their skin's face.
- Distance shown under each head.
- Nearby players: can also show players your client can see, even if they aren't tracked.
- Toggle key: show or hide the compass at any time (assign it in Controls).
- Fully configurable in Mods > Compass HUD > Config: width, height, angle covered, head size, distance, nearby players, background.
- English and French translations included.
Installation
- Client only: nothing to install on the server, works on any server.
- Xaero's Minimap is optional: without it, the compass still shows directions and nearby players.
Credits
- Xaero's Minimap by xaero96: player tracking comes from his mod. This is an unofficial add-on, not affiliated with Xaero.
