About this project

What does AbyssLib add?

AbyssLib

A modular shared library for Altnoir mods.

AbyssLib is a common dependency/library used by Altnoir mods. It is split into independent modules, so you can install only what you need — or use the all-in-one bundle. It does not add gameplay content by itself.

AbyssLib

All-in-one bundle. Includes Reginth, ReLink, and Atlas.

AbyssLib-Reginth

Registrate-based registration framework + sectioned creative tabs.

A source-included registration framework forked from Registrate.

CreativeTabSection for sectioned creative tabs with banner styles.

AbyssLib-ReLink

Texture/model linking, Athena-compatible.

A texture/model linking module ported from Athena. It provides:

CTM, carpet CTM, pane CTM, giant/mural, pillar, limited pillar, and pane pillar models.

Dynamic model loading and custom model factories.

Full-model emissive (relink:emissive) and OptiFine-style emissive overlay textures.

Compatibility with legacy Athena syntax (athena:loader, athena:ctm, assets/<ns>/athena/, etc.).

You do not need to install upstream Athena. If Athena is detected, ReLink disables its athena:* compatibility layer to avoid conflicts.

AbyssLib-Atlas

Large-structure placement and vanilla limit expansion.

A structure expansion module for large structures: Raises vanilla limits: jigsaw max_distance_from_center 128 → 256, jigsaw size 20 → 128, structure block range 48 → 128.

Adds atlas:per_chunk placement so every chunk in a large structure footprint can generate its own pieces.

Adds atlas:jigsaw and atlas:grid_profile for consistent large-structure generation.

Designed for long roads, giant dungeons, and other structures beyond vanilla limits.

Tips

For players and modpack makers: install the all-in-one AbyssLib unless a mod tells you otherwise.

ReLink and Atlas can run without Reginth. Reginth is only needed at compile time for optional datagen helpers.
