About this project
What does Create: Gearlings add?
Create: Gearlings
Create: Gearlings is an unofficial addon for Createthat adds small mechanical workers built to help around your factory.
Assemble a Gearling by hand, equip a profession, and configure its work directly in the world with the Gearling Pointer. There are no programming screens or large control blocks: the workers walk between their assigned locations, perform their tasks, and return home to sit when there is nothing left to do.
Three professions
Carrier
Moves up to one stack per trip between two configured inventories. Carrier routes can span up to 64 blocks by default.
Stoker
Fetches valid fuel from a configured inventory and supplies furnaces or Blaze Burners. One Stoker can serve up to 16 configured machines by default.
Collector
Picks up dropped items within a configurable radius and delivers them to a selected inventory. Collectors have nine internal cargo slots.
Designed for the factory floor
- Assemble each Gearling in three compact steps: Base, Body, and Core.
- Activate it with Create's Wrench.
- Swap professions freely with the Carrier Pack, Stoker Shovel, or Collector Magnet.
- Configure work points and a resting position with the Gearling Pointer.
- Hold the Pointer to see colored route lines in the world.
- Idle Gearlings return home and sit instead of wandering away.
- Gearlings become broken instead of disappearing when defeated.
- Repair a broken Gearling with Create's Wrench and one Andesite Alloy.
- Shift-right-click with the Wrench to pack a Gearling for transport while preserving its name, profession, and cargo.
- Owners and players on the same vanilla scoreboard team can manage the worker.
- Includes an in-game manual in English and Brazilian Portuguese.
Getting started
