About this project

What does Direct 3d add?

Direct3d adds a graphics API chooser to Minecraft’s pause menu for Fabric on Minecraft 26.2.

Choose Direct3D 12 or Vulkan, apply the setting, and restart Minecraft for the selected backend preference to take effect. The mod also provides access to the bundled engine’s anti-aliasing settings.

Requirements: Fabric Loader, Fabric API 0.161.0+26.2, and Windows for the bundled D3D12 backend. The backend may fall back to another graphics API if the selected one is unavailable.

Performance depends on your system and settings. This mod does not guarantee higher FPS or provide ray tracing.

Because if a gpu you have and it doesnt support D3D12 it wont work
