About this project

What does Favorite Items (CurseForge Edition) add?

Favorite Items

This mod adds Terraria-like favorites system for your inventory. Hold Left Alt and Left Mouse Button to favorite/pin/bookmark item. A favorited item can't be thrown away by accident, and the favorite follows the item wherever you move it.

Fully Client-Side, no Server-Side install needed! (Amazing Part)

Satchel Hotbar GUI

Satchel Hotbar GUI

Satchel Hotbar GUI

  • Favorite follows the item: move, swap, equip armor, use number keys, swap hands (F) or pick block, and the mark goes with item.
  • Accident-proof: blocks Q / Ctrl+Q, dropping outside the window, shift-clicking into containers, drag-spreading and double-click gathering. What still counts as droppable is up to you.
  • Smart shift-click: items from a chest top off your favorited stacks first instead of scattering.
  • Click-and-drag to favorite or unfavorite many slots at once. Works in the hotbar, inventory, armor, offhand and Ender Chest.
  • 9 icon styles with a live preview, plus a custom style and sound via resource pack. Optional hotbar indicator.
  • Additional Protection (off by default): also stops a favorited item from being used (placing blocks, eating, throwing, feeding, using on blocks and entities…). Per-action levels, presets and include/exclude lists.
  • Tool protection: stops axes, shovels, hoes, shears and brushes from doing their special action (stripping, flattening, tilling, shearing, brushing).
  • Keep favorites on servers with a lobby, and after death (both optional).
  • Unbound toggle keys for Protection and tools, so you can flip them without opening the settings.
  • Favorites are saved in the dedicated config file per world and per server.
  • In Creative mode the mod is paused; your favorites return when you go back to Survival.
