About this project

What does PixelCrystalOptimizer add?

PixelCrystalOptimizer

Optional end-crystal rendering simplification with a native F8 settings screen. Choose vanilla detail, one glass shell, or the visible core. Add distance-based core-only detail, and independently control crystal beams and visual animation.

Disabled by default. Save, Cancel, Reset, and a remappable keybinding are included.

What changes

Core only draws 48 instead of 96 vertices for a crystal with its base: 50% less crystal-model geometry. FPS gains depend on your setup and are not guaranteed. The trade-off is simpler glass detail; turning off beams removes their visual cue. Animation freezing is a visual option.

No live entity removal, hitbox changes, packet tricks, attack automation, faster server confirmations, or combat timing changes.

Installation

Client only. Pick the file matching your exact Minecraft version and Fabric or NeoForge. Fabric API is not required. Use Java 21 for Minecraft 1.21.x and Java 25 for 26.x. Follow your server's mod policy.

Initial release: Beta. Code and original project artwork were created with AI assistance. All gameplay and settings screenshots are genuine Minecraft captures.
