About this project

What does HARDCORE: before time add?

This mod needs "GECKOLIB".

This mod adds multiple dangerous prehistoric creatures such as : Hyaenodon, Thylacoleo, Kelenken, Deinotherium, Cave Bear, Megalodon, Basilosaurus, Tiger Shark, Xiphiorhynchus, Livyatan, Smilodon, Megalania, Arsinoitherium, Epicyon and some less dangerous like gastornis, leptictidium, megaloceros, thylacine, coelacanthus or a mouse.

Hyaenodon : Can spawn on every biome, can be very dangerous when he sees a player

Cave Bear : Very territorial, the moment you come too close, he wants to get rid of you.

Smilodon : Very dangerous, very fast and loves hunting players.

Kelenken : Can be a real danger just like hyaenodon, but isnt too common.

Megalania : once it targets you, its not gonna leave you until either you, or it will die. Has a strong poison that can leave you with just one HP very fast.

Thylacoleo : He can climb walls and trees. Isnt as dangerous as other predators but still can do some damage.

Megalodon : One of 3 apexes of the deep sea. Prefers normal ocean. Very dangerous and very strong creature. Aggressive towards player.

Livyatan : Another one of the main 3 apex predators of the deep sea. The strongest creature in the mod, does not target humans unless provoked. Spawns in the deep cold and deep frozen ocean.

Basilosaurus : The last one of these 3. Prefers deep warm and deep lukewarm ocean. Can spawn in groups. Targets every other Apex predator of the sea and players.

Deinotherium : Rare, but also a powerful creature. Hates Megalania, and can protect you from it. Its better to NOT provoke it.

Arsinoitherium : A territorial animal. Can protect you from carnivores, however is you come too close, you will become its next target.

Gastornis : Passive creature, not very common.

Leptictidium : A small animal. Afraid of many other creatures (players too), can prevent incoming danger. If you see it running away ignoring everything around you without any visible reason, you are PROBABLY someones prey.

Mouse : Can get into your house.

Thylacine : Small predator, prefers to stay away from you. Mainly hunts small creatures.

Megaloceros : usually tries too keep his distance from you, but if you try to kill it and when its HP gets low, it might get aggressive

Coelacanthus : Extinct fish.

Tiger Shark : Hates players, if he sees you, he is gonna be aggressive towards you.

Xiphiorhynchus : This fish gets aggressive once you come too close, however sharks are afraid of him.

Epicyon : Spawns at night and can break the doors to get to you. Can be befriended using Deinotherium meat. After befriending him you can ride him. He isnt going to listen to you, since he remains semi-wild, however he will protect you.

Amphicyon / Giant bear-dog : A very powerful predator, but not an overly aggressive one, unless you come too close. It may become curious about you and start following you around. However, its curiosity may eventually turn into aggression, especialy if you let him get too close...

Doedicurus : He will try to avoid danger, however if you attack him, his group might get mad at you

Proailurus : can be tamed with leptictidium meat, or chicken meat. He can help you get rid of mice.

Short Faced Bear : Giant extinct bear species. Unlike Cave Bear, he is fully a predator, and he is much more aggressive.
