About this project
What does Military Arms Core add?

Military Arms Core is a shared combat and effects library for military-themed mods. It provides reusable projectiles, hit processing and audiovisual effects, so compatible mods can share the same foundation.
Shared features
- Projectiles and models: reusable shells, bombs, missiles and tracer rendering.
- Combat calculations: direct hits, penetration, blast-distance falloff, cover and terrain destruction.
- Projectile motion: ballistic movement, turning limits, entity tracking and straight flight after losing a target.
- Smoke and fire: persistent smoke screens, smoke-aware mob detection, burning areas and flamethrower effects.
- Effects and sound: explosions, dust, lingering smoke, optical beams, flame lighting, positional sound and loop fades.
Military Arms Core is currently developed for use in my own mods. In the future, I plan to refine its API and provide clear documentation and usage examples so other mod developers can use it in their own projects.
