About this project
What does Inferno custom spawner add?
🔥 Inferno Spawner
A whole mob farm in a single block. Catch any mob with the fiery lasso, put it in the spawner, and it keeps producing loot while you do other things. No giant builds, no lag from crowds of mobs, no waiting for night.
✨ Features
🪢 Fiery Lasso
Right-click to catch any mob: cows, zombies, modded mobs and even bosses. Unbreakable, the lasso never wears out. A captured mob shows up in your inventory as a tiny 3D figure. Right-click a block to release the mob.
👑 Boss Hunting
The Wither, the Ender Dragon and bosses from other mods can be captured too. A captured boss counts as killed. The dragon plays its death animation and the exit portal opens as usual.
🔥 Inferno Spawner
9 mob slots: one lasso per slot, and you can put the same mob in several slots. Loot every 10 seconds (configurable). Fair drops: the mob “dies” as if killed by a player, so you get exactly what normal gameplay would drop. Everything comes at once, no “999 beef”. Mob weapons and armor never drop. The captured mob spins inside the burning cage. XP builds up inside the spawner. Take it with the “Collect XP” button. Output on any side: loot goes straight into nearby chests and pipes. You can turn each of the 6 sides on or off in the menu. A redstone signal pauses the spawner.
⬆️ Upgrades (6 slots, one of each kind)
Upgrade Effect 🗡️ Looting Works like Looting III, plus a 5% chance to drop the mob’s head ✖️ Doubling All loot ×2 ⏩ Speed Loot every 5 seconds instead of 10 🟢 Wisdom XP ×2 💀 Boss Hunter Rare boss loot chance ×2 🔥 Flame Meat drops already cooked
💎 Rare Boss Loot Bosses in the spawner drop valuable items, but with small chances to keep it fair:
Nether Star from the Wither: 5% Dragon Egg: 1% Dragon Heart from Draconic Evolution: 2% 🧩 Mod Compatibility Works with mobs from any mod: Divine RPG, Thermal Expansion, Botania and more. Their loot comes from the mods themselves. If a mod throws loot straight onto the ground (for example Draconic Evolution), the spawner catches it and stores it inside. ⚙️ Flexible Config
In config/infernospawner.cfg you can change:
the time between loot and the strength of every upgrade; rare boss loot chances; custom drops for any mob; custom XP per mob; a blacklist of mobs that can’t be captured; whether bosses can be captured at all. 📦 Requirements Minecraft 1.12.2 Forge 14.23.5.2860 or newer No other mods needed.
Inspired by the Tiny Mob Farm mod. All code and textures were made from scratch.
