fpm-emf-head-fix-1.3.0+26.3.jar. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install [EMF] Entity Model Features [Fabric & Forge], First-person Model, [ETF] Entity Texture Features - [Fabric & Forge], Fabric API and 1 more first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup. 3 come through another mod in the chain.
3 extra mods were pulled in by other dependencies. Indented rows show who needs each one. We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does First Person: Player Extension Compat add?
First-person Model: EMF Head Fix
Fixes the “looking from inside your own head” problem when you use First-person Model with an EMF player model, such asFresh Animations: Player Extension.

What it does
Head fix. First-person Model hides your head so you can see your own body. With EMF player models, the head and its extra parts, like the pack’s custom face, can still be drawn, so your camera ends up inside them. This addon hides them whenever First-person Model hides your head. Third person and other players are not affected.
Head follow while running. Some packs lean the torso forward when you sprint, which can push the body into your view. The addon cancels that extra movement so your torso stays in a sensible place. It only applies while standing, walking, and running, not while sneaking, swimming, gliding, sleeping or riding. It doesn’t change First-person Model’s own offset settings.
Requirements ❗
- First-person Model
- Entity Model Features (EMF)
- An EMF player model pack, for example, Fresh Animations: Player Extension
The addon is client-side only. You don’t need it on a server.
Configuration
In-game: with Mod Menu and Cloth Config installed (both optional), open Mod Menu, select this mod and click Configure. Changes apply immediately when you save, with no restart.
Or edit the file: a config file is created on first launch at config/fpm_emf_head_fix.properties:
hiddenParts: extra part names to hide as wellheadFollowEnabled: set tofalseto turn off the running fixheadFollowStrength: how much forward, back and sideways movement to cancel (1.0 = all, 0 = none, up to 2.0)headFollowVerticalStrength: the same for up and downheadFollowRelativeToIdle:true(default) leaves your standing position to First-person Model’s offset settings
Compatibility
- Tested with First-person Model 2.7.3 and Entity Model Features 3.3.11 to 3.3.12.
- Built for Fresh Animations: Player Extension. Other EMF player packs may work too, but I haven’t tested them.
- Not tested with Vivecraft, Leawind’s Third Person or Perspective API. If you run into any conflict, please report it.
- The addon reads a marker that First-person Model keeps internally, so a big First-person Model update could break it. I’ll update it when needed.
Reporting problems
Please post in the comments with the mod versions you use and the pack you’re running. Attaching your logs/latest.log helps a lot.
