About this project
What does Mastercall add?
Mastercall is a mod about Servants – powerful companions you call into the world through an old summoning ritual. They aren't pets that simply follow you around: each one has her own character, her own way of fighting and her own way of reacting to you.
The ritual
Craft the fragments of a summoning circle, lay them out on the ground and they will join into one. Place the right catalyst in its center, begin the ritual – and someone answers. Every Servant comes only for her own offering, a master can hold only one of each kind, and the circle burns away once the summoning is done. A Book of Summoning explains the basics, with recipes and pictures.
The Servants
* King Protea – a gentle, endlessly hungry girl who grows the more you care for her. Feed her, earn her affection, maybe even give her a ring... and one day she may become something far larger than a companion.
* Frankenstein – a quiet, artificial girl who runs on electricity. She guards you with her own body, learns new tricks the longer she stays by your side, and can be upgraded with what you put in her bag.
* Medusa – a cold, silent fighter with chains and a blindfold. She doesn't trust easily. Earn it, and she'll fight beside you, pull you out of danger and even let you ride her Pegasus. Her gaze is better left unseen.
* Ereshkigal – the proud goddess of the underworld, bound to a fragile body of clay. She commands the dead, claims every soul that falls near her and insists she doesn't care about you at all. Her realm is not a place you want to visit – and she is very possessive of what she considers hers.
* Artoria Pendragon – the King of Knights, armed with a blade no one can see. She fights with grace and discipline, and she watches how you fight too. Live by the knight's code and she will share her secrets with you. Betray it, and you will learn what a king's disappointment means.
Mash Kyrielight - Shielder
A shy girl with a giant shield, sleeping in a frozen capsule high in the snowy mountains. Artoria can sense where it is. Fuel the capsule like a furnace, and Mash will wake up to become your Servant.
- Her shield is a real wall: mobs can't pass through it, you can stand on it, and it blocks arrows, Guardian beams and even the Warden's sonic boom.
- She always stands between you and danger: she pulls enemies onto herself, circles around you in a crowd and knocks small mobs back with her shield.
- She is a living girl: she gets hungry, and to her a meal from your hand means closeness.
- Noble Phantasm "Lord Camelot": a wall, a fortress or a full dome. How strong it is depends on her heart: whether she's well fed and how you treat her.
- Give her a ring, and she will not let you die. Even if it costs her everything.
- If she falls, place her shield in the summoning circle. She will return... and remember how she died.
Command Spells
Every contract leaves its mark: red seals burn on the back of the Master's hand. Spend one, and your Servant obeys absolutely – wherever she is. Use them wisely. They don't come back easily.
Servants remember
If a Servant falls, she can be summoned again – and she will remember you, everything you did for her, and everything you did to her. Kindness is rewarded. Some mistakes are never forgotten.
Servants also know each other – keep more than one by your side and you'll hear what they think of one another.
Also inside
Unique weapons and items, custom enchantments, a petrification curse, a living planet with its own dimension, a realm of the dead, a few swordsmanship tricks, and plenty of small secrets waiting to be found.
More Servants are planned in future updates.
