IDF - Uniform & Equipment

Bring the Israel Defense Forces into Minecraft. This mod adds detailed 3D uniforms, corps berets, real IDF and Border Police ranks and a full set of tactical gear, jackets and 44 waving IDF flags, all drawn from reference photos. Everything can be crafted in survival.

Uniforms

• Class A, Class B and Career Class A for Ground Forces, Air Force and Navy
• Tactical uniforms for every corps
• Border Police (Magav) Class A and Class B uniforms
• Coveralls: pilot flight suit, Air Force technician coverall (with reflective bands) and tank crew coverall (with shoulder straps and Class B style ranks)
• Service caps for the Air Force and the Navy
• Boots: black, red (paratroopers) and Lowa. Boots get dirty from the ground you walk on: sand, red sand, mud and earth, gravel dust and snow each leave their own stains, so a walk through sand and then mud shows both. Water cleans them (walk into water, or throw dirty boots in). Boot polish (black for black boots, brown for red boots) opens a polishing screen for your boots, or another player's when you right-click them: take the brush, dip it in the tin and rub the stains off. 10 uses in survival. Lowa boots are only cleaned by water.
• Jackets: green soft-shell (Ground Forces), blue soft-shell (Air Force), dark navy soft-shell (Navy) and a tactical hooded jacket, worn in their own Curios slot over the uniform and under the vest. The Israel flag patch sits at the top of the left sleeve, and your rank moves onto the jacket below it; each jacket shows only its own corps' ranks.
• Shirts are tucked in and end at the belt; pants end at the top of the Lowa boots.

Berets

Every corps beret: Golani, Paratroopers, Givati, Nahal, Kfir, Armored, Artillery, Combat Engineering, Intelligence, Border Defense, Air Force, Navy, Border Police and General Corps. Wear the beret on your head, or tucked under the left shoulder strap in its own Curios slot.

Ranks

• Every IDF rank from Corporal to Lieutenant General, including all career NCO ranks, plus the full Border Police rank set
• Worn in a dedicated Curios rank slot and drawn differently on every shirt
• Conscript ranks come in two versions: regular stripes, and combat soldiers' (lochmei chod) patches in their real colours (Ground Forces black frame and green stripes, Air Force white frame and black stripes, Navy yellow frame and black stripes). Only the combat soldiers' version goes on the tactical shirt.
• Career and officer ranks sit on the shoulder; on the tactical shirt they are embroidered velcro patches on the shoulder pocket
• Real oak leaf ("falafel") insignia for Staff Sergeant and field officers
• Separate Ground Forces, Air Force and Navy rank sets in their corps colours
• Border Police: conscript ranks are a green velcro patch with white chevrons on the left upper sleeve; career and officer ranks sit on both shoulders with white rosettes, leaves and laurel wreath

Tactical Gear

• Helmets: Shachar, recruit, tank crew, fighter pilot and helicopter pilot helmets, plus a black Border Police helmet
• Helmet covers: green and desert cloth covers, and a tactical cover (Agilite style) with a battery pouch, a flashlight that really lights up where you look (K) and an IR strobe that blinks green and can only be seen through night vision (J)
• Vests with real armor values: tactical, black Border Police, Dolphin, recruit, aircrew and armored corps vests
• Storage in your gear: vests and belts hold magazines, grenades and more. Right-click to open them, or press Y (vest) or G (belt) while wearing them.
• Belts: tactical belt with a small IFAK pouch, and the Dolphin belt
• Robocop knee pads (olive, or black for the Border Police), headset and tactical glasses
• Night vision (monocular and binocular): press N to flip it down. It lights up the dark with a green picture and is blinded by bright light.
• Dog tags: engrave your name, unit and personal number once. Craft a black or olive cover and put it in the dog tag's cover slot. The tags are hidden under Class A shirts.
• Backpacks: tactical pack (18 slots), turtle pack (27) and medic pack (45). Press B to open the pack on your back.
• Parachute: press Space while falling to open it. You glide down slowly and take no fall damage.

To put on a pack, vest or belt, use sneak + right-click or the Curios screen.

Flags

A Flags tab with 44 flags: Israel, the IDF, the Border Police, the arms, commands, directorates, corps and brigades.

• Place a flag on the ground (on its own stick), on a wall or under a ceiling. It waves in the wind, and its back side reads the right way round. A standing flag can be broken anywhere along its stick.
• Stack flag poles as high as you like and right-click the pole with a flag to raise it to the top.
• Right-click a flag with an empty hand to turn it.
• Size tool (4 sizes), mount tool (stick / nearby wall / ceiling) and stick tool (take the stick off a wall or ceiling flag).
• In your hand the flag hangs folded and swings as you walk. Right-click the air and hold: both arms come up and spread it out, waving and swaying, in first and third person.

English and Hebrew (item names switch to Hebrew when the game is in Hebrew).

מביא את צה"ל למיינקראפט: מדים בתלת־ממד, כומתות לכל החילות, דרגות אמיתיות של צה"ל ומג"ב, מעילים, ציוד טקטי מלא ו-44 דגלים מתנופפים, הכל לפי תמונות אמיתיות. אפשר להכין הכל בקראפט בסורבייבל.

מדים

• מדי א', מדי ב' ומדי א' קבע לחיל הרגלים, לחיל האוויר ולחיל הים
• מדים טקטיים לכל חיל
• מדי מג"ב: מדי א' ומדי ב'
• סרבלים: סרבל טייסים, סרבל טכנאים של חיל האוויר (עם פסים מחזירי אור) וסרבל טנקיסטים (עם כותפות ודרגות כמו במדי ב')
• כובעים לחיל האוויר ולחיל הים
• נעליים: שחורות, אדומות (צנחנים) ולואה. הנעליים מתלכלכות ממה שהולכים עליו: חול, חול אדום, בוץ ואדמה, אבק חצץ ושלג, כל אחד עם כתמים משלו, ומי שהלך בחול ואחר כך בבוץ רואה את שניהם. מים מנקים אותן (נכנסים למים או זורקים לתוכם נעליים מלוכלכות). גלח"צ (שחור לנעליים שחורות, חום לאדומות) פותח מסך צחצוח לנעליים שלך, או של שחקן אחר כשלוחצים עליו מקש ימני: לוקחים את המברשת, טובלים בקופסה ומשפשפים את הכתמים. 10 שימושים בסורבייבל. נעלי לואה מתנקות רק במים.
• מעילים: מעיל סופט-של ירוק (חיל הרגלים), כחול (חיל האוויר), כחול כהה (חיל הים) ומעיל טקטי עם כובע, בסלוט Curios משלהם: מעל המדים ומתחת לווסט. פאץ' דגל ישראל בראש השרוול השמאלי, והדרגה עוברת למעיל מתחתיו; כל מעיל מקבל רק את דרגות החיל שלו.
• החולצות נכנסות למכנסיים ונגמרות בחגורה, והמכנסיים נגמרים בחלק העליון של נעלי הלואה.

כומתות

כל כומתות החילות: גולני, צנחנים, גבעתי, נח"ל, כפיר, שריון, תותחנים, הנדסה קרבית, מודיעין, הגנת גבולות, חיל האוויר, חיל הים, מג"ב וחיל כללי. אפשר לחבוש את הכומתה על הראש, או לשים אותה מתחת לכותפת השמאלית בסלוט Curios משלה.

דרגות

• כל דרגות צה"ל מרב"ט ועד רא"ל, כולל דרגות הנגדים, וכל דרגות מג"ב
• נלבשות בסלוט דרגה של Curios, וכל דרגה מצוירת אחרת על כל חולצה
• דרגות הסדיר באות בשני סוגים: פסים רגילים, ופאצ' של לוחמי חוד בצבעים האמיתיים (חיל הרגלים: מסגרת שחורה ופסים ירוקים, חיל האוויר: מסגרת לבנה ופסים שחורים, חיל הים: מסגרת צהובה ופסים שחורים). על החולצה הטקטית אפשר לשים רק את הדרגות של לוחמי חוד.
• דרגות קבע וקצונה על הכתף, ובחולצה הטקטית כפאץ' רקום על הכיס שבכתף
• עלה אלון אמיתי ("פלאפל") בדרגות סמ"ר וקצינים בכירים
• סטים נפרדים לחיל הרגלים, לחיל האוויר ולחיל הים בצבעי החיל
• מג"ב: דרגות הסדיר הן סקוץ' ירוק עם V לבנים על הזרוע השמאלית; דרגות קבע וקצונה על שתי הכתפיים, עם רוזטות, עלים וזר דפנה לבנים

ציוד טקטי

• קסדות: קסדת שחר, קסדת טירונים, קסדת שריון, קסדת טייס קרב וקסדת טייס מסוק, וגם קסדה שחורה של מג"ב
• כיסויים לקסדה: מצנפת ירוקה ומדברית, וכיסוי טקטי (בסגנון Agilite) עם כיס סוללות, פנס שבאמת מאיר את המקום שמסתכלים עליו (K) ונצנץ זיהוי שמהבהב בירוק ורואים אותו רק דרך אמר"ל (J)
• ווסטים עם ערך שריון: טקטי, טקטי שחור של מג"ב, דולפין, טירונים, טייסים ושכפ"ץ שריונאים
• אחסון בציוד: בווסטים ובחגורות שמים מחסניות, רימונים ועוד. מקש ימני פותח אותם, או Y (ווסט) ו-G (חגורה) כשלובשים אותם.
• חגורות: חגורה טקטית עם תיק חבישה קטן, וחגורת דולפין
• ברכיות רובוקופ (ירוקות, או שחורות של מג"ב), אוזניות ומשקפיים טקטיות
• אמר"ל (חד עיני ודו עיני): N מוריד ומרים אותו. מאיר את החושך בתמונה ירוקה, ומסתנוור מאור חזק.
• דיסקית: חורטים שם, שיוך ומספר אישי פעם אחת. מכינים כיסוי שחור או ירוק זית ושמים אותו בסלוט הכיסוי של הדיסקית. מתחת למדי א' לא רואים את הדיסקית.
• תיקים: תיק טקטי (18 מקומות), תיק צב (27) ותיק חובשים (45). B פותח את התיק שעל הגב.
• מצנח: כשנופלים לוחצים רווח והמצנח נפתח. יורדים לאט ובלי נזק נפילה.

כדי ללבוש תיק, ווסט או חגורה: Shift ומקש ימני, או דרך מסך ה-Curios.

דגלים

לשונית דגלים עם 44 דגלים: ישראל, צה"ל, מג"ב, הזרועות, הפיקודים, האגפים, החילות והחטיבות.

• מציבים דגל על הרצפה (על מקל), על קיר או מתחת לתקרה, והוא מתנופף ברוח, והצד האחורי שלו נקרא נכון. דגל על מקל נשבר מכל גובה של המקל.
• בונים עמוד דגל כמה שרוצים לגובה, ומקש ימני על העמוד עם דגל מעלה אותו לראש העמוד.
• מקש ימני ביד ריקה על דגל מסובב אותו.
• כלי גודל (4 גדלים), כלי תלייה (מקל / קיר קרוב / תקרה) וכלי מקל (מוריד את המקל מדגל על קיר או תקרה).
• ביד הדגל מקופל ותלוי ומתנדנד בהליכה. מקש ימני באוויר ומחזיקים: שתי הידיים עולות ופורסות אותו, והוא מתנופף ומתנדנד, בגוף ראשון ושלישי.
