About this project

What does Ping Markers add?

Apex-style pings for Minecraft. Stop typing "over here, no, the other cave" in chat.

Features

  • Press **V** to ping what you're looking at, up to 256 blocks away:

  • **Block:** marked with an outline and its name.

  • **Mob:** the marker follows it as it moves.

  • **Item on the ground:** shows the item name and amount.

  • **Danger pings:** hostile mobs are marked red automatically. Hold **Alt** while pinging to mark any spot as danger.

  • Markers are **visible through walls** with a live distance and who pinged it, and fade out after 8 seconds.

  • A different sound for normal, danger and item pings, and a message above the hotbar ("Steve pinged Iron Ore (23 m)").

  • **Team support:** if you're on a scoreboard team, only your teammates see your pings.

  • Each player has one active ping; a new one replaces the old.
