TownTopia
Turn quiet villages into living towns. Villagers have names, jobs, skills, moods, homes and daily routines. They farm, mine, cook, trade, play music and fight off raids, while you work with the Mayor to help the town grow

About this project
What does TownTopia add?
TownTopia
Found Your Town
Place a Town Hall to found a town or take over a village. The Mayor runs things from there: buildings, jobs, beds, food and the town's emeralds. Build homes, workplaces and storage rooms, and watch new villagers settle in as the town grows.
18 Jobs
Every villager has work to do, with their own outfit, tools and animations.
Food and farming
- Farmer: plants, tends and harvests crops
- Rancher: looks after the animals
- Butcher: keeps the town supplied with meat
- Cook: turns raw food into meals for the town
Resources and crafting
- Lumberjack: chops trees and replants them
- Miner: digs for stone and ore
- Blacksmith: smelts metal and makes tools
- Builder: builds from blueprints you give them
- Tradesman: keeps goods moving
Care, knowledge and culture
- Cleric: heals the sick and injured
- Druid: tends to nature
- Enchanter: works with magic and enchantments
- Teacher: runs the school where children learn
- Bard: plays music at the tavern with real instruments
Defence
- Guard: patrols and fights up close
- Captain: the Barracks' elite guard
- Archer: fights from range with a bow
- Mage: casts spells from behind the guards
Villagers With Real Lives
- Every villager has a name and a personality.
- They have needs: food, sleep and happiness. A well-fed, well-rested villager works better. A sad one shows it.
- They sleep in their own beds and get up in the morning.
- In the evening they wind down: a visit to the tavern, a dance to the bard's music, or a quiet hour in the library.
- Children go to school instead of working and grow up into adults ready for a job.
Skills That Grow
Villagers get better at their job over time. Smarter villagers learn faster, and the school helps the young ones get a head start. You can follow each villager's progress in their Skill Progression panel.
Visitors and Trade
Merchants, travellers and nomads visit your town to buy and sell. Keep your storage stocked and your town will earn emeralds.
Defend Your Town
Raids are a real threat. Guards, captains, archers and mages fight back, and town alerts tell you when someone gets hurt. Watch out for the Illager Warlord, a raid boss who leads the attack himself.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
