About this project

What does Flow Control - Streams Reflowing Addon add?

Flow Control

⚙ FLOW CONTROL ⚙

Direct the flow. Keep the peace.

Flow Control adds simple, craftable tools for redirecting water currents, creating calm docks and restoring natural flow around your builds. It works with Streams Reflowing without rewriting terrain or moving water blocks.

🌊 Directional currents · ⚓ Still water · 🔧 Redstone controls

Overview

🌊 Three tools for every waterway

  • Flow Wand: Select directional flow, still water or restore natural flow within an adjustable circular area.
  • Current Generator: Place a persistent current controller and rotate its top arrow to change water direction.
  • Stillwater Anchor: Calm the water around docks, harbors and moorings.

Built for survival and multiplayer. All three tools have crafting recipes. Controller regions persist per dimension, respect overlapping overrides and respond to redstone. Power disables a controller; breaking it removes the override.

⚓ Make water work for your build

Place a Stillwater Anchor under a dock to prevent water-induced boat drift. Use the wand to guide currents through canals, or add permanent Current Generators where you need reliable flow.

Controls: Sneak-use the wand while aiming at the sky to change mode; use while aiming at the sky to change radius. Server operators can configure strengths, permitted radius and player editing permissions.

Still water does not cancel a boat’s existing momentum, collisions or steering.

Dependencies

📦 Versions & dependencies

Note: Currents change water velocity, not the surface shape or river terrain.
