About this project

What does Kumodesu: Ascension: Cursed Techniques add?

KumoDesu: Cursed Techniques

**Summary (short description):**
Jujutsu Kaisen cursed techniques for KumoDesu: Ascension. Buy Limitless, Shrine, Ten Shadows, Disaster Flames, Blood Manipulation or Idle Transfiguration with skill points and level them up to unlock their moves, up to Domain Expansion.

About

An addon for **KumoDesu: Ascension** that brings the cursed techniques of *Jujutsu Kaisen* into its skill system. The new skills are in KumoDesu's normal skill list under **Active**, bought with skill points and levelled by using them, like any other skill. Every few levels unlocks a new move, and most techniques end with a **Domain Expansion** at level 10.

Switch between moves the same way you switch modes on any KumoDesu skill. Moves cost MP and have cooldowns. Some, like Hollow Purple and the domains, have a casting time.

Cursed Energy Manipulation (300 SP)

The foundation of jujutsu, and required before you can learn an innate technique.

Level Move Effect
1 Reinforcement Strength, Resistance and Speed for 30 seconds, stronger as the skill levels
3 Black Flash Your next melee hit within 5 seconds deals 2.5x damage
6 Reverse Cursed Technique Heal 30% or more of your health and clear poison and wither

Limitless (3000 SP)

The Gojo clan's innate technique.

Level Move Effect
1 Infinity Toggle. Attacks and projectiles never reach you. Drains MP every second, and trains Limitless for as long as it stays on
2 Blue A point of attraction that drags everything in and crushes it
4 Red A repulsive blast that explodes on contact and hurls enemies away
6 Hollow Purple Blue and Red combined: a mass that erases everything in its path
8 Hollow Purple: 200% A far larger Purple that carves through the world and detonates at the end
10 Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void A closed domain. A pitch-black barrier traps everyone inside, and the world is replaced by the Void: endless stars, a black hole and streams of light. Everyone caught inside is frozen by infinite information

Shrine (3000 SP)

The King of Curses' innate technique.

Level Move Effect
1 Dismantle An invisible ranged slash that cuts through everything in a line
3 Cleave A close-range slash that adapts to its target, dealing more to tougher enemies
5 Fuga A flame arrow that explodes into a firestorm
8 World Cutting Slash Cuts space itself: ignores armor and splits the terrain
10 Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine An open domain with no barrier, just like in the story. The shrine rises behind you, the sky turns blood red, and everything in a huge radius is shredded by slashes that can't be blocked, not even by Infinity

Damage grows with the skill's level and your KumoDesu **Magic** stat.

Ten Shadows (3000 SP)

Megumi's technique: shikigami summoned from shadow. They fight beside you, never against you, and fade back into the shadows after a while.

Level Move Effect
1 Divine Dogs Two shadow wolves, White and Black
2 Nue A winged shikigami that dives at enemies and strikes with lightning
3 Toad A tongue snatches the enemy you're looking at and drags it to you
5 Max Elephant A colossal elephant drops in with a torrent of water and stays to fight
6 Rabbit Escape A flood of rabbits draws every enemy's attention while you slip away unseen
8 Mahoraga The strongest shikigami. Every kind of damage hurts it less each time, its wheel turns as it adapts, and it even adapts to Infinity
10 Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden The ground becomes a sea of shadow: enemies sink, you and your shikigami move freely, and shikigami are free to summon

Disaster Flames (3000 SP)

Jogo's volcanic flames. Using them makes you fire resistant for a while.

Level Move Effect
1 Ember Insects Burning insects that hunt down enemies and burst
3 Volcanic Eruption A pillar of fire bursts from the ground where you look
5 Flame Torrent A roaring wave of fire in front of you
8 Maximum: Meteor A fireball the size of a house falls from the sky
10 Domain Expansion: Coffin of the Iron Mountain A closed domain inside a volcano. Everyone trapped with you burns

Blood Manipulation (2000 SP)

Choso's technique. Every move spends some of your own blood (health), and your blood poisons whatever it hits. No Domain Expansion, just like in the story.

Level Move Effect
1 Slicing Exorcism A spinning disc of blood that slices through a line of enemies
2 Flowing Red Scale Strength, Speed and Haste for 45 seconds
3 Crimson Binding Bind the enemy you're looking at in ropes of blood
4 Piercing Blood Convergence, then a supersonic beam of blood through everything in a 64-block line
6 Supernova Blood orbs circle you, then burst into the nearest enemies
8 Blood Meteorite A ball of hardened blood hurled like a meteor
10 Flowing Red Scale: Stack A far stronger blood boost for 30 seconds

Idle Transfiguration (3000 SP)

Mahito's technique: touch a soul to reshape it.

Level Move Effect
1 Soul Touch Heavy damage that ignores armor and twists the body. From level 5, creatures it kills rise as Transfigured Humans that serve you
3 Self-Transfiguration Heal half your health and shed harmful effects
5 Transfigured Humans Three transfigured humans fight for you
7 Polymorphic Soul Isomer A mass of transfigured flesh that bursts into soul-piercing spikes
8 Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing Your true form: massive Strength, Resistance, Speed and leaping
10 Domain Expansion: Self-Embodiment of Perfection A closed domain full of reaching hands. Every soul inside is transfigured away within seconds

Configuration

config/kumocursed-common.toml lets you change:

  • the skill point cost of each skill, whether innate techniques need Cursed Energy Manipulation, and whether a player can only have one innate technique (off by default),
  • overall damage and MP cost multipliers, the Black Flash multiplier, and Infinity's MP drain and skill EXP per second,
  • whether techniques break blocks (on by default), the hardest block they can break, and the size of the Hollow Purple: 200% blast,
  • each domain's radius, and how long domains last.

Blocks with contents (chests, furnaces and so on) and unbreakable blocks are never destroyed.

Requirements

  • Minecraft **1.20.1**, **Forge 47** or newer
  • **KumoDesu: Ascension 0.3.6 or newer** (0.3.x), and its own dependencies
