About this project
What does echoblade add?
Echoing Blade
"Sound is the weapon, and the void answers."
Echoing Blade is a comprehensive content expansion for Minecraft 26.2 (NeoForge). Instead of simply adding "stronger swords with bigger numbers," this mod introduces a highly integrated, self-contained progression system built upon vanilla's Sculk, Warden, Ancient City, and End themes.
Note: This mod is developed with the assistance of AI and is continuously updated.
Core Features
Sound & Void Magic: Utilize the power of sonic booms and spatial rifts.
Unique Progression: A full crafting chain starting from underground mining, leading to Ancient City looting, and culminating in Netherite-tier upgrades via the Smithing Table.
Balanced but Powerful: All weapons and armor feature unique mechanics rather than pure stat inflation. (e.g., Consume your own max health for burst damage; fire sonic waves instead of arrows).
Fully Translated: Complete Simplified Chinese and English localization for items, tooltips, advancements, and death messages.
Vanilla Friendly: Does not replace vanilla ores, modify vanilla recipes, or add new dimensions. Uses Global Loot Modifiers to keep compatibility with other mods.
New Equipment & Arsenals
The Rift Set (Tier above Netherite)
Upgrade your Netherite gear using the Echo Template (found in Ancient Cities) and Riftsky Ingots.
Echo Saber: Features a "Resonance" charge system (0-5). At max charge, your next hit unleashes a devastating sonic nova that bypasses armor and invincibility frames. Includes a dash ability.
Echo Wave Bow: Fires Warden-style sonic booms instead of arrows. Deals armor-piercing damage and scales with the Power enchantment.
Rift Armor Set: Grants massive bonuses (up to +20 Max HP). Wearing the full set gives permanent Resistance II. Press 'V' to activate Rift Burst, sacrificing max HP for a massive attack boost.
Cryo Frost Sword: Throw ice spikes and freeze water as you walk. Hits apply extreme Slowness and deal bonus % max HP damage.
Trinkets & Accessories (Curios API Soft Dependency)
Rift Resonance Necklace: Stand near an active Sculk Sensor to charge an absolute shield. The shield completely absorbs damage (even overflow damage) and levels up (up to 20 points) before breaking.
Sculk Rift Crown: Boosts attack damage and doubles your Echo Wave's range.
Echo Charm: Dropped by the Warden. Gives a 60% chance to double your final damage output.
New World Generation & Mobs
Rift Ore & Deepslate Rift Ore: Spawns underground. Requires a Diamond Pickaxe to mine.
Rift Worm: A neutral, sculk-infested bug. It actively seeks out Rift Ores and burrows inside them. If you mine an Unstable Rift Ore, all the worms inside will burst out and attack you!
Frozen Altar: A new snow structure similar to Igloos, containing a custom loot pool with rare Cryo materials and Enchanted Books.
The Void-End: A new set of purple wood (non-flammable) and a custom tree that spawns sparsely in the End Highlands. Bone meal the sapling to grow your own.
Materials & Crafting Chains
1. The Rift Chain (Sound & Void):
Mine Rift Ore -> Smelt into Rift Shards -> Combine with Echo Shards -> Craft Riftsky Ingots.
2. The Cryo Chain (Ice & Frost):
Craft Frost Essence from Blue Ice -> Create Cryo Ingots using Ocean Hearts -> Forge the blade using Cryo Sword Blanks, Sheaths, and the Ancient City Ice Box Template.
