About this project
What does MCA Illagers to Outlaws add?
MCA Outlaws
**There are no illagers - only outlaws.** This MCA Reborn addon redraws every illager as an MCA human, with their own face, skin, hair and an illager-style uniform. Their behaviour is unchanged: patrols, raids, mansions and spells all work exactly as before.
Features
- **Outlaws instead of illagers:** pillagers, vindicators, evokers and illusioners look like MCA people in matching uniforms. Each outlaw's looks are fixed to that mob, male or female.
- **Surrender:** now and then an outlaw spawns without a weapon, and a hard melee hit can knock a weapon out of their hand. An unarmed outlaw gives up: hands up, stops fighting and leaves the raid, and other mobs leave them alone. Hit them and they'll fight back for a while.
- **Redemption:** give an unarmed outlaw an **emerald** and they become a real MCA villager, keeping their face, hair and uniform. Spellcasters (evokers) never surrender.
- **Illager Invasion support (optional):** if Illager Invasion is installed, its ten illagers become outlaws too, each in its own uniform.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47+
- **MCA Reborn 7.7 or newer** (required)
- Illager Invasion (optional)
- Needed on both the client and the server.
Config
config/mcaoutlaws-common.toml:
- chance an outlaw spawns unarmed (default 10%)
- chance a melee hit disarms them (default 10%)
- how long a hit outlaw stays angry (default 30 s)
- the item that redeems them (default emerald)
