About this project
What does Security Craft fix addon add?
SecurityCraft Boat Compatibility
An unofficial compatibility addon for SecurityCraft, designed to resolve boat-rendering crashes caused by incompatible or modified Minecraft models.
SecurityCraft Boat Compatibility is a lightweight, client-side addon developed for Minecraft 1.21.1 and NeoForge.
It addresses a specific rendering incompatibility that can occur when SecurityCraft attempts to use Minecraft's vanilla chest-boat model, but another mod or resource modification has changed the model's structure.
Originally developed for the Diplocraft 4 modpack, this addon is designed to work independently of that modpack.
This is an addon, not a replacement for SecurityCraft. The original SecurityCraft mod is required.
Features
Security Boat Rendering Fix
Addresses the following error:
java.util.NoSuchElementException: Can't find part water_patch
This error can occur when SecurityCraft attempts to access a missing model component during security boat renderer registration.
The addon introduces a compatibility fallback that:
Detects when the required
water_patchmodel component is missing.Substitutes a freshly baked vanilla boat model when necessary.
Preserves existing models when the required components are available.
Avoids unnecessarily modifying bamboo raft models.
Operates without modifying or replacing the original SecurityCraft JAR.
Lightweight Compatibility
The addon focuses exclusively on correcting the identified rendering incompatibility.
It does not introduce new blocks, items, recipes, entities or gameplay mechanics.
All existing SecurityCraft features remain provided by the original mod.
