About this project

What does Solo Leveling SLR HunterBond add?

HunterBond

Get to know the hunters of Solo Leveling: Reawakening.

HunterBond turns the hunter NPCs into characters you can talk to, befriend, fight beside and even fall for. It does not change their stats, ranks or combat. It adds the relationship layer on top.

Requires: NeoForge 1.21.1 and Solo Leveling: Reawakening
Optional: Solo Leveling: Hunter Society and MCA Reborn

How it works

Right-click a hunter to open a menu in the style of the System windows. Choose a topic and a tone, and watch how they react. Every hunter has one of 13 hidden personalities (tsundere, cold, arrogant, shy, kind, joker, hot-blooded, lazy, cautious, greedy, disciplined, cheerful and mysterious). You only find out which one after you have talked with them enough, so learn what they like and what annoys them.

Over time you earn hearts. Each personality needs a different number of hearts to unlock each feature.

Features

  • Conversations: 10 topics and 10 tones. Each personality has its own lines, with thousands of lines in total, so the world feels alive.
  • Deep Talk: hunters bring up personal situations (fear of a gate, a lost teammate, a promotion exam and more). What you answer is remembered.
  • Hidden relationship values: trust, respect, tension and familiarity change how hunters react.
  • Gifts and promises: give gifts they like, make promises and keep them. Break one and they will remember.
  • Orders: ask hunters to stay, follow you or wander. They will refuse if tension is too high.
  • Equipment and supplies: hunters can accept gear and share supplies with you.
  • Party and help calls: invite hunters to your party and call them for help from a distance.
  • Combat chat: hunters comment during fights, when allies fall and after kills. Allied hunters can never be hurt by your own hits.
  • Hidden inventory: each hunter carries a small, hidden set of items. Rank decides how many and how rare, and personality decides the kind. They drop on defeat, and a hunter may even surprise you with a first gift.
  • Romance: ask a hunter out once you have enough hearts. The chance depends on their personality and your bond. Partners have their own lines and special benefits, such as dates, healing when you are hurt and keepsake gifts.
  • Roles: the story you build can make a hunter your friend, best friend, rival, confidant or comrade. Each role has its own lines and small perks.
  • Themed menu: once you discover a hunter’s personality, the menu takes its color and look.
  • Ambient remarks: hunters comment on dawn, night, rain, storms, snow, caves, forests, the sea, mountains, the Nether, the End, or when you are hungry.

Solo Leveling: Hunter Society (optional)

If Hunter Society is installed, you can invite a hunter to your guild. The chance depends on their personality, rank, hearts and how they feel about you. Partners are much more likely to say yes. HunterBond also keeps a hunter’s memories when Hunter Society removes and respawns them.
