NULL EROSION

A survival mod in which bugs and errors erode your world.
The further the phases go, the more the land breaks, the more creatures get infected, and the stranger the bugs that spawn.

Features

A world that breaks in 12 phases

• Erosion Points (EP) build up over time and push the world from phase 0 to phase 12.
• The ground turns into corrupted blocks, and biomes are rewritten into three kinds of sectors: Corrupted, Frozen and Conflict.
• Kill bug mobs, defeat bosses and repair the corruption to bring EP down and push the erosion back.
• A Sector Restore Patch turns a sector chunk back into its own biome and puts back the blocks that were there.

About 100 kinds of bug mobs, and 25 infected forms

• Glitchlings, Null Pointers, Stack Overflows, Memory Leaks... enemies modelled on software bugs.
• Mobs of their own for each biome, each sector, the sea, the Nether and the End.
• Mimics, tough XP-rich enemies and lucky rare monsters.
• Ordinary mobs become infected; mobs with no infected form (other mods' mobs included) become a Dangling Pointer, which later resolves into a random bug mob.

Bosses

• More than 20: main bosses, roaming field bosses, sector bosses and infected vanilla bosses.
• Five structure bosses, each waiting in a lair of its own: on the surface, under the ground, on the sea bed, in the sky and in /dev/null.
• Every boss has its own health bar (a design for each form) and its own battle theme.

The Null Sisters

• Reika, Reine and Reiha each turn up under their own conditions. One of them joins you once she trusts you; the others come with an Invitation, made from Sister Memories.
• In multiplayer, every player can have sisters of their own.
• Every sister is her own: five aptitudes and one of nine natures (a Moody one changes from day to day).
• They grow with their level (up to 50; an Unbound Key lifts the cap), the bosses you beat and the traits they learn from enemies.
• Their own gear, their own enchantments, and their own bag: they use healing items by themselves and keep the drops they pick up.

Skill tree

• 4 pages, 16 branches, 241 nodes.
• The 12 fighting branches grow with skill XP from kills; the 4 work branches (Mining, Logging, Farming, Fishing) each grow with XP from their own work.

The Error Database

• Enemies, items and places are recorded as you meet them, with search, filters and sorting.
• Enemies you have not met yet show as silhouettes, with hints on how to meet them.
• 30 Operator Logs slowly reveal what happened to this world.
• Guide, status effect and event pages included.

Requirements and compatibility

• **Required**: Forge 1.20.1 (47+), GeckoLib 4.4+
• **Optional**:
• Curios API — wear accessories in their own slots (head, ring, charm, curio). Without it they work from your hands and hotbar.
• JEI — bug mob drops, Linker fusions, the machines' recipes and item info pages.
• Jade — bug mob info, the original block under a corrupted block, protection devices' status.
• Ars Nouveau — this mod's enchantments at the Enchanting Apparatus.
• Multiplayer supported (install on both server and client).

Configuration

Enemy numbers and strength, erosion speed, infection and more can be tuned in the server config (serverconfig/nullerosion-server.toml in the world folder).

• **This mod rewrites the world's terrain heavily.** Back up any world you care about before adding it.
• v0.1 contains the Erosion mode only.

バグとエラーが世界を侵食していくサバイバルMODです。
フェーズが進むほど地形は壊れ、モブは感染し、見たことのないバグが湧き始めます。

特徴

12段階で壊れていく世界

• 時間とともに「侵食ポイント（EP）」が溜まり、フェーズが 0 → 12 へ進みます。
• 地面は汚染ブロックに置き換わり、バイオームは「汚染・凍結・競合」の3種のセクターへ書き換わります。
• バグモブを倒す・ボスを倒す・汚染を修復することでEPを減らし、侵食を押し戻せます。
• セクター・リストアパッチで、セクターになったチャンクを元のバイオームとブロックに戻せます。

約100種のバグモブと25種の感染体

• グリッチリング、ヌルポインター、スタックオーバーフロー、メモリリーク……プログラムの不具合をモチーフにした敵たち。
• バイオームごと・セクターごと・水中・ネザー・エンドにそれぞれ専用のモブがいます。
• 擬態する敵、経験値の多い強敵、出会えたら幸運なレアモンスターも。
• 普通のモブは「感染体」になり、感染先がないモブ（他MODのモブを含む）は「ダングリング・ポインタ」を経てランダムなバグモブへ変化します。

ボス

• メインボス、野外に現れるフィールドボス、セクター専用ボス、感染したバニラボスなど、20体以上。
• 地上・地下・海底・空・/dev/null の5つの専用構造物に、それぞれ構造物ボスが待ち構えています。
• すべてのボスに専用の体力ゲージ（形態変化ごとのデザイン）と専用の戦闘BGMがあります。

ヌル三姉妹

• 零火・零音・零葉。それぞれ別の条件で現れます。信頼を得て仲間になるのは1人だけで、ほかの姉妹は「姉妹の記憶片」から作る招待状で迎えます。
• マルチプレイでは、プレイヤーごとに自分の姉妹を仲間にできます。
• 姉妹は1人ずつ個体差があります。素質5つと性格9種類（日によって調子が変わる「気分屋」も）。
• レベル（最大50、アンバウンドキーで上限解除）、倒したボスの能力、敵から学ぶ特性で成長。
• 専用装備・専用エンチャント・専用の持ち物（回復アイテムを自分で使い、ドロップを拾って保管）。

スキルツリー

• 4ページ・16本の枝・241ノード。
• 戦闘の12本は敵を倒して得るスキルXPで、作業の4本（採掘・伐採・農業・釣り）はそれぞれの作業で得る専用XPで成長します。

エラーデータベース（図鑑）

• 出会った敵・アイテム・場所が自動で記録されます。検索・フィルタ・並び替え付き。
• まだ出会っていない敵もシルエットで表示され、出会い方のヒントが見られます。
• 30編のオペレーターログで、この世界に何が起きたのかが少しずつ明かされます。
• ガイド・状態異常・イベントの解説ページも収録。

そのほか

• 成長する装備、対抗（アンチウイルス）装備、セクターボスの装備、多数のアクセサリー。
• モジュール：武器・防具に取り付ける部品8種（他MODの装備にも付けられます）。

• v0.1 は「侵食モード」のみです。
