🌑 When the lanterns go out and the torii bleed red, the old spirits return. A demon drums thunder over the mountains. A cursed samurai guards the cherry groves. A ghost bride freezes the peaks, a crow-winged kami rules the cliffs, and something drags a ship anchor through the swamps. After dark, a nine-tailed fox walks the black forests and a starving skeleton rises from the plains. Follow the red gates. Climb to the highest one. And wake the one thing that should have stayed asleep:

✨ Why Yokai's Hell?

🎯 Combat Built to Be Learned

💀 Mash your sword and you will die. Read the fight and you will win.

🔴	Ground warnings	Red circles and lines fill up right before the hit. Get out before they're full.
🌊	Shockwaves	Slams send rings of dust across the floor. Jump over them.
⛓️	Combos	Bosses chain 2–3 attacks together, and do it more often in phase 2.
💥	Punish windows	After their biggest moves, bosses get stuck, stunned or exhausted and take +30% damage.
🛡️	Damage cap + armor	No one-shot cheese. You have to earn the kill.
📳	Screen shake	Heavy impacts shake the camera. Each player can tune it in the client config.
👥	Multiplayer scaling	Bosses gain health and damage for every extra hunter nearby.

---

👹 The Calamity Oni

📍 Mountains and hills · ❤️ 340 HP · 🎁 Kanabō Fragment

A towering demon in lacquered armor. Raijin's drums burn on its back, and its spiked kanabō has flattened armies.

• 🔨 Club Combo: smash, backhand, and an overhead finisher that sends out a shockwave.
• 🦘 Crushing Leap: run away and it lands right where you were standing.
• 🐂 Charge: it lines you up and charges. Dodge into a wall and watch it stagger.
• ⚡ Thunder Drums (phase 2): every drum beat calls lightning down on your head.
• 🪨 Rock Skin: swords bounce off. Bring a pickaxe to shatter the stone plates.

🗡️ The Desecrated Ronin

📍 Cherry groves · ❤️ 240 HP · 🎁 Ronin's Katana

His master is dead. His honor is gone. Only the 3.4-block nodachi remains.

• 🌸 Parry and Riposte: hit him while he's on guard and he appears behind you.
• 🌙 Nodachi Combo: a Rising Cut that launches you, then a Crescent Moon Slash that splits the ground.
• 💫 Dance of a Thousand Blades (phase 2): he teleports around you in a star and cuts five times.
• 🏴 Cursed Banner: heals him while it stands. Break it fast.
• 🔥 Duel Circle: a ring of burning petals. Try to leave and you get cut.

❄️ The Lady of Ice: Yuki-onna

📍 Snowy peaks and frozen biomes · ❤️ 225 HP · 🎁 Blizzard Crystal

Travelers lost in the snow say a woman in white found them. None of them saw the spring.

• 🧊 Frost Claw → Glacial Nova: she blinks behind you, tears at you, and the ice around her explodes.
• 🔪 Halo Barrage: she fires the ice blades orbiting her head in a fan.
• 🏔️ Glacier Wall: a row of ice spikes erupts across the ground.
• 🌨️ Whiteout (phase 2): icicles rain down all around you.
• 🪞 Mirages, blizzards and the Ice Prison: get frozen solid and you're locked in a block of ice.

🪶 The Tengu of the Peaks

📍 Taigas and bamboo jungles · ❤️ 225 HP · 🎁 Tengu's Fan

The mountain kami does not forgive trespassers. It takes them, and the wind keeps their screams.

• 🌀 Staff Sweep → Staff Slam: a spinning shakujō strike, then a dive onto a marked circle.
• 🌬️ Gale Wall: a wall of wind that pushes you off cliffs.
• 👻 Kamikakushi: it grabs you and carries you into the sky. Hit it twice to break free, fast.
• ☄️ Descent of the Kami (phase 2): it climbs into the clouds and slams down on the spot under you.
• 🐦‍⬛ Karasu-tengu: it summons crow warriors to swarm you.

🐢 The Kappa of the Depths

📍 Swamps and mangroves · ❤️ Pack of 3, 85 HP each · 🎁 Kappa's Dish

Children are told not to swim near the reeds. Something down there drags a rusted anchor, and it is always hungry.

• 👥 Pack hunters: they come in threes, with no boss bar. Only one at a time can grab, challenge or hook you, and the last one standing drops the chest.
• ⚓ Anchor Combo: a sweeping swing, then a sunken slam that sends out a shockwave.
• ⛓️ Thrown Anchor: it hooks you on a chain and reels you in.
• 🌪️ Shell Whirlwind (phase 2): it spins inside its shell and ricochets off the walls.
• 🤼 Foul Drag and the Sumo Challenge: it pulls you into the water or shoves you out of the ring.
• 🎯 Weak spot: spill the water dish on its head with an arrow or a critical hit to stun it.

🦊 Tamamo, the Nine-Tailed Kitsune

📍 Dark forests, night only · ❤️ 260 HP · 🎁 Kitsune Mask

White hair, red eyes, a black naginata with a burning edge. She smiles until the mask comes off, and then the fox comes out.

• 🌙 Naginata Combo: a waist-high sweep, a long thrust, then a spinning slam into the ground.
• 🔥 Fox Step and Kitsune-bi: she vanishes in a flame and reappears behind you. Her homing foxfires turn back on her if you hit them.
• 🪞 Bunshin: three copies surround you and fake their attacks. The copies cast no shadow.
• 👁️ Charming Gaze: her eyes burn for a second. Still looking when it ends? She drags you in. Look away.
• 🌀 Possession Seal: stay inside the circle when it closes and your controls are inverted for 3 seconds.
• 🐺 The Beast (phase 2): she transforms into a giant fox whose tails ignite one by one, from 3 to 9. Every lit tail means one more line or orb to dodge.
• 🎭 A Thousand Illusions (once, at low health): darkness and seven phantom foxes. Only one is real.

💀 Gashadokuro, the Starving Skeleton

📍 Plains, savannas and badlands, night only · ❤️ 500 HP · 🎁 Nodachi of the Gashadokuro

Seven blocks of bone in broken samurai armor, with turquoise soulfire in its eyes and ribs and a rusted 5-block nodachi in its hand. It is always hungry.

• 🐌 Slow to turn: get behind it and stay there.
• 🎯 Weak spot: when its guard drops after a heavy attack, hit the head for extra damage and a stun.
• ⚔️ Horizontal and Vertical Slash: jump the 200° ground sweep, sidestep the line of impact.
• 🌙 Onibi Blade (phase 2): a crescent that hits harder the farther it travels. Keeping your distance won't save you.
• 🦴 Bone Hunger (phase 2): it drives its hand into the ground and skeletons claw their way out.
• 🌋 Soul Geysers and the Grab (phase 3): eruptions launch you into the air, and if you get too close it shakes you and throws you away.
• ☠️ Death throes: it crumbles, and chunks of bone rain down on marked circles. Don't stand under them.

🐉 FINAL BOSS: RYŪ OF THE STORMS

📍 Jagged Peaks, above Y 180 · ❤️ 850 HP · 🎁 Ryū's Pearl (Legendary)

⚡ The sky turns black. Lightning strikes every few seconds. Antlers wider than your house rise above the torii gates. Three phases. A permanent thunderstorm. No mercy.

⛩️ How to awaken it: find its Torii high on the Jagged Peaks, always above Y 180. It's rare and usually kilometers away. Step within 12 blocks of the arch: after the omen, lightning strikes and the dragon rises in a spiral.

☁️ Phase 1: Lord of the Skies

• ⚡ Lightning Breath: a sweeping beam that sets the ground on blue fire.
• 🌀 Wind Orbs: homing spheres that blow you off the mountain.
• 🌩️ Thunder Pillars: five strikes, and one of them lands where you're about to run.

🌋 Phase 2: Earthly Fury

• 🐍 Tail Sweep: the whole body spins and clears 10 blocks around it.
• 🦷 Bite and Lunge → Seismic Crash: it drives its head into the ground. That's your moment to strike.
• 👻 Minor yokai: onibi will-o'-wisps and wind spirits join the fight.

🌪️ Phase 3: The Ancestral Storm

• 🎭 Shadow Dance: it splits into illusion dragons, and only the real one takes damage.
• ☄️ Death Dive: it climbs into the sky and falls like a meteor.
• 👁️ Eye of the Storm: a chasing lightning barrage that ends in one massive strike.

🏆 Defeat it to claim the legendary Ryū's Pearl: lightning immunity in either hand, plus the Dragon Ascent, which launches you into the sky with a thunder shockwave.

❄️ Blizzard Crystal	Yuki-onna	Freezes and slows every enemy within 5 blocks.
🪭 Tengu's Fan	Tengu	Fires three damaging wind gusts.
💧 Kappa's Dish	Kappa	Offhand: extra air underwater, better swimming and full-speed underwater mining.
🦊 Kitsune Mask	Tamamo	Helmet. Take a heavy hit and you leave a foxfire illusion behind and turn invisible for 3 seconds, while monsters chase the illusion.
⚔️ Nodachi of the Gashadokuro	Gashadokuro	Slow, fireproof greatsword, 11 damage. Right-click: a short slash that fires an onibi crescent whose damage grows with distance.
🔮 Ryū's Pearl	Ryū	⚡ Lightning immunity + Dragon Ascent.

🥋 Yokai Hunter Armor

A samurai-style set (kabuto, dō, haidate, suneate) upgraded from diamond at the smithing table. It doesn't burn in lava and protects against freezing.

🎌 Full set bonus: +20% damage to yokai bosses and −15% damage taken from them.

⛩️ Torii Gates

The same monumental red-and-black torii (11×45×71) stands in each boss's biome, and you don't have to touch a thing. At 28 blocks it stirs: souls drift under the arch and a bell rings. At 12 blocks comes a 3-second omen of bells, soulfire and a pillar of light, and then the boss appears under the arch, facing you. The Kappa arrive as a pack of 3, while the Kitsune and the Gashadokuro only wake at night. Win, and a reward chest appears with loot, essences, a Yokai Hunter template and a lore scroll telling that yokai's story.

🧭 Quick Start

1. 📥 Install NeoForge 21.1.x or Forge 52.x for Minecraft 1.21.1.
2. 📦 Drop the Yokai's Hell file for your loader and GeckoLib 4.9.3+ for that same loader into your mods folder.
3. 🗺️ Find a Torii: /locate structure miniboses_orientales:torii_oni (also torii_ronin, torii_yuki_onna, torii_tengu, torii_kappa, torii_kitsune, torii_gashadokuro).
4. 🐉 Find the dragon: /locate structure miniboses_orientales:torii_ryu
5. 🧪 Just testing? Use /summon miniboses_orientales:<boss> or the spawn eggs in the Yokai's Hell creative tab.

💡 Tip: Torii only generate in new chunks, so upgrading from an old world means exploring unvisited land. Travel prepared.
