Bending — Elemental Powers

Choose one of the four elements and master it. Every ability has hand-made visual effects, custom block-based models, and sounds. You unlock new powers as you level up.

Getting started

• Press B to choose your element. The choice is permanent.
• After that, press B to open your skill tree.
• Use your abilities with R, G, V and Z.
• Some abilities use left click to fire, throw, or launch.

Elements & abilities

💧 Water

• Water Orbs (R): three orbs of water circle around you. Click to throw them one by one.
• Water Whip (G): a whip of water that lashes your enemies.
• Healing Water (V): heals you over a short time.
• Water Octopus (Z): surround yourself with water tentacles that attack nearby enemies.

🪨 Earth

Earthbending works with stone, dirt, sand, andesite, granite and other natural blocks.

• Earth Spikes (R): three rock spikes float beside you. Click to launch each one where you aim.
• Earth Wall (G): raise a wall of rock. Click to launch it forward.
• Earth Prison (V): trap a target inside a cage of stone.
• Earth Surf (Z): ride a slab of rock and move forward at high speed.

🔥 Fire

• Fireball (R): a blazing projectile that sets its target on fire.
• Fire Leap (G): a huge fire-powered jump. When you land, a shockwave of fire burns nearby enemies.
• Fire Kick (V): a super fire kick.
• Fire Nova (Z): pulls enemies in, then explodes in a ring of fire that blasts them back.

🌪️ Air

• Air Blast (R): a gust that knocks enemies back and puts out fires.
• Air Shield (G): a sphere of wind that pushes away enemies and projectiles.
• Air Scooter (V): ride a spinning ball of air at high speed.
• Air Flight (Z): be able to fly for a few seconds.

Progression

• Gain XP by using your abilities in combat.
• Each level gives you skill points. Spend them in the skill tree to unlock abilities and improve your stats.
• The HUD shows your energy, level, XP and cooldowns.

Commands

• /bending remove: removes your element so you can choose a new one.
• /bending reset: resets your skill tree.
• /bending xp / /bending level: give XP or set levels (for admins).

Multiplayer

• The mod works on servers. Both the server and every player need it installed.
• Abilities respect protected areas. Only the Fireball creates real fire; all other effects clean up after themselves.
