About this project
What does Boomless Creepers add?
Boomless Creepers
💥 Creepers still go boom and still hurt players and mobs, but they no longer destroy blocks.
About the mod Boomless Creepers is a minimalistic, server-side mod that keeps creepers scary without letting them ruin your builds. Creepers still explode, still damage players and mobs, still knock you back, and still play their full sound and particle effects. They just no longer break blocks or start fires. Only creeper explosions are affected, so TNT, beds, end crystals, ghasts, wither skulls and every other explosion source behave exactly like vanilla. Because it runs fully server-side, you can drop it on a dedicated server or into a singleplayer world's mods folder, and vanilla clients can connect and play as normal with no client mod required.
Environment: Server
Configurable: preventCreeperBlockDamage (default = true): Enables the mod. Set to false to restore vanilla creeper block destruction. chargedCreepersAlso (default = false): Also applies to charged (lightning) creepers when true.
Notes Free to use in modpacks and on servers. For issues, ideas or suggestions, please use the issue tracker linked on the project page.
