About this project
What does Haki Realm add?
Haki Realm DISCORD
I wanted Haki in Mine Mine no Mi to work like it does in the manga, so I started reworking it for my server. Then it kept growing. It's now got races, sword schools, legends you can fight, factions, player nations, raids and a lot more.
Heads up before you download: this is made for servers. Haki, the races, the schools and the legends all work if you play alone, but factions, nations and server events need other players and an admin who's paying attention.
It runs on Forge 1.20.1 and goes on the server and every client. The mods it needs are listed further down, and some of them are required because the bosses use them.
Who runs what
A lot of this is meant to be run by people, not by the mod.
Players handle the day to day. Faction officers promote, demote and kick their own members, and leaders start wars and make peace. Monarchs run their nations, so that's borders, taxes, towns and who gets which post. If people get sick of their Monarch they can rebel. Captains run their crews, and players can take on apprentices and teach them techniques.
Some things only an admin can do, and that's on purpose:
- approve new nations
- invite people into the World Government
- name the Warlords
- open the Imu fight
- start server event raids (the only reward that gives Conqueror's levels)
There's an admin panel for all of that, and for fixing ranks, seats, wars and nations when something goes wrong. If a faction leader quits, their seat opens up and goes to the best member who qualifies, so nothing gets stuck waiting for them.
Haki
Haki starts asleep and something has to force it out of you. That can be dropping to 20% health against someone twice as strong and surviving, passing a mentor's trial, or being born to a race that has it.
Conqueror's is rarer. Only people born with it can awaken it, and it takes a real crisis like being surrounded or an ally about to fall.
After that, Armament grows by fighting things stronger than you (hitting chickens teaches you almost nothing) and Observation grows by not getting hit. Future Sight stays locked until you beat someone with better Observation than yours. Pain and rage cloud your Observation, and overusing Haki drains your Will. There's a Haki bar at the top of the screen in combat so you can see where you're at.
Techniques are real abilities on your ability bar. You get them at Haki milestones, or earlier if a mentor teaches you:
- Armament: Hardened Charge, Ryuo Pulse, Ryuo Shot, Ryuo Breakwater (parts a Devil Fruit's sweep like Rayleigh does), Haki Barrier, Ryuo Flow
- Observation: Mantra Pulse, Weak Point Read, Foresight Counter, Projectile Read, Future Sight: Glimpse Ahead
- Conqueror's: King's Glare, Conqueror's Shockwave, King's Thunder, Galaxy Impact, Galaxy Divide, Ragnaraku, Kamusari, King's Domain, Conqueror's Awakening
Haki matters against Devil Fruits too. Sneak with Hardening on and you can block hits, fruit attacks included. When two coated blows meet you get black lightning, and two Conquerors can lock into a contest of wills that ends in anime impact frames. Ryuo can shake a fruit loose, Armament hits a Logia's real body, and a strong Conqueror can shut down a much weaker fruit user for a few seconds. There are limits on that so nobody gets locked out of their fruit over and over.
Devil Fruit mastery
A fruit is weak when you first eat it. You start with one move and its passives at 10% power, and the only way to level it is to use it. Each of the 10 levels adds power and opens up more moves. Full mastery takes about 1,100 uses. NPCs and legends always have their fruits at full strength.
Races, schools and styles
There are 11 races and tribes: Long-Arm, Three-Eye, Kuja Warrior, Lunarian, Giant, Tontatta, Long-Leg, Buccaneer, Oni, Shandian and Ancient Giant. They've all got their own look and perks, and 3 to 8 moves each.
Sword schools: Oden Two-Sword Style, Fox Fire Style, Humming Fencing, Hawk-Eye Style, Shimotsuki Style, Kyutoryu Asura and Red-Hair Style. Each has four or five techniques.
Martial arts: Ryusoken, Hasshoken, Okama Kenpo, Fishman Jujutsu, Sumo and Dial Arts.
Mine Mine no Mi's own styles (Black Leg, Brawler, Sniper, Doctor, Art of Weather) get new moves as well.
Legends
Ten legends are in as Mine Mine no Mi challenges, each in their own arena. They call out their big moves, go through phases, get serious at half health and drop hazards on the arena. Beat them for their gear and to learn their techniques.
| Legend | Arena | Moves to watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Monkey D. Garp | Marineford | Fist of Love, Blue Hole, Galaxy Impact, Galaxy Divide |
| Dracule Mihawk | Kuraigana | Yoru, Great Slash, Kokuto Saku |
| Silvers Rayleigh | Sabaody | Ryuo, Future Sight, Conqueror's Haki |
| Kaido | Onigashima | Ragnaraku, Raimei Hakke, Bolo Breath, the Azure Dragon |
| Whitebeard | Marineford | Gekishin, Kabutowari, Shima Yurashi, Tenchi Meido |
| Red-Haired Shanks | Marineford | Gryphon Guard, Kamusari, the Haki that stops a war |
| Admiral Aokiji | Punk Hazard | Partisan, Pheasant Beak, Avalanche, Ice Age |
| Admiral Kizaru | Sabaody | Yata no Kagami, Amaterasu, Yasakani no Magatama |
| Admiral Akainu | Punk Hazard | Dai Funka, Bakuretsu Kazan, Ryusei Kazan |
| Blackbeard | Marineford | Kurouzu, Dark Matter, Black Road, Black Hole, Liberation, Black World, Tenchi Meido |
The Admirals have real Logia bodies, so only Haki touches them, and in their last stand their fruits awaken: Ice Epoch, Hyosai, Kousoku, Lightfall Domain and Meigo no Jidai.
Then there's Imu, the final challenge. It's meant for a team of four at their peak, an op has to open it, and you get an hour. You start in the throne room against Imu's hybrid devil form. Beat that and the Five Elders come in three waves, each in their beast form. When the last one falls you get dropped into Imu's private garden for the real fight against the full demon form.
Mentors and the world
Mentors for every discipline wander around or live in dojos and sword halls. They'll spar with you, run trials (the Observation one is blindfolded) and teach techniques. You'll also run into Haki trial grounds and Whitebeard's grave. Meditation and Waterfall Training are there if you want to train on your own.
Raids
Every so often a raid shows up near a player, scaled to how strong they are, and the whole server gets told where. Raids go from level 1 to 6. Higher levels mean more waves, and the leader comes with the last one. At the low end that's a notorious captain, then East Blue bosses, and for the strongest players it's the legends themselves.
Everyone who helps gets a share. Whoever did the most damage gets extra, and crewmates fighting together get 25% more. Admins can also start a raid by hand as a server event.
Factions
Marines, World Government, Bounty Hunters, Revolutionary Army, Pirates and Bandits are all proper groups now, with their own ranks, chat and notice board. Press J for the Faction menu, it's styled like the rest of Mine Mine no Mi.
The top ranks have limited seats. There's one Fleet Admiral, one Pirate King, four Emperors and so on down the ladder, and you can change every limit in the config. The law and the Revolutionaries rise on merit, and Pirates and Bandits go by bounty. Each faction has nine quests with four on the board at a time, and the board changes every 2 hours.
Killing enemies earns merit or bounty, and leaders can declare wars that get scored by kills. You can change sides, but it costs Belly and you'll be marked as a deserter for a while. The World Government doesn't take volunteers, an admin has to invite you.
The Seven Warlords sit in the Marines between Rear Admiral and Vice Admiral, and only admins can name one. A pirate who gets a seat joins the Marines, their bounty freezes, they keep their crew and the law's NPCs leave that crew alone.
Nations
Nations sit on top of factions, so a Marine and a Pirate can both be citizens of the same country. You need 3 citizens and an admin's approval to get one going.
Each nation has a Monarch, a Royal Council, a Royal Guard, Ministers, Nobles and Town Mayors. Crowns pass by inheritance, a vote or a rebellion. There's a bank, taxes come in once a real day and soldiers get paid weekly. You can pay for Marine or Pirate protection, which stops the other side's NPCs spawning on your land and sends a squad when you get attacked.
If you've got FTB Chunks, nations hold real land. You draw your border by dragging on a chunk map in the Faction menu. Devil Fruit moves can't break or place blocks on claimed land, so nobody can level your city for fun.
That changes in a war. As soon as one starts, both nations lose their protections until it's over. Territory battles have a 30 minute grace period and need at least half of each nation's active citizens online, and the winner wipes the enemy's claims in that area. The Five Elders can also name a nation an enemy of the World Government, and then an Admiral can call a Buster Call on it.
Duels, crews and bounties
Duels happen in a ring, nobody dies, and they're rated. /haki top shows the rankings for rating, legends and raids. Crewmates train 15% faster near each other, and captains can kick someone even when they're offline. If you betray your crew you get a skull next to your name and no crew will take you for a while. Big deeds raise your bounty and show up in the server news.
Everyone also gets the Haki Realm Guide in game, and there are 36 advancements to go for.
For server owners
/haopens the admin panel- Players get
/fand/n, ops get/fa,/naand/ha /haki doctorchecks your setup- Abilities can't break Lootr chests, claimed or not
- With FTB Chunks installed, personal claims are limited to 9 chunks and force-loading is off by default. You can change both in the config

| Pehkui | The races' sizes become real: hitbox, eye height and reach |
| FTB Chunks and FTB Teams | Nation land, border drawing and territory battles |
| Lootr | Its chests are safe from abilities |
| Mine Mine no Mi: Community Styles | Golden dials and the Dial Bag work with Dial Arts |
Settings
It reads Mine Mine no Mi's caps from its config, so any values work. I balanced it around these in serverconfig/mineminenomi-server.toml:
- Doriki Limit 35000
- Haki Exp Limit 500
- Haki Exp Multiplier 2.0
- Doriki Reward Multiplier 1.5
- Bounty Reward Multiplier 2.5
- Challenge Caching, Logia Invulnerability, Logia Return Effect and Ability Griefing on
Everything this mod adds can be tuned in serverconfig/hakirework-server.toml or from the admin panel.
Unofficial fan addon. Mine Mine no Mi belongs to its creators, and One Piece belongs to Eiichiro Oda / Shueisha. Not affiliated with either.
