About this project
What does Simple Books add?
This mod was built so I could write manuals for my mods. Now you can too! allows you to customise your books to match your modpack and comes with a helpful stand to pop the book on while you're reading using it in your factory/kitchen/wizard tower.
New Feature - Quest Books!
Simple Books now lets you build quest books for your modpack without writing any code. You write quests as simple files, then pick a layout: a checklist, a skill tree or a story told in chapters. Quests can be hidden, optional, repeatable or split into branching paths, and there's a bounty board with rotating tasks. Teams work toward quests together, and each player claims their own rewards. For big grinds, the hand-in box can be fed by pipes and hoppers. Mod authors can add their own quest task types through a small API.
