How to Configure Food
In your config directory, navigate to adventurersfeast/food_buffs/.
Create one JSON file for each food item you want to add or customize.
Here is an example for a golden carrot:
{
"item": "minecraft:golden_carrot",
"buffs": [
{
"type": "effect",
"id": "minecraft:night_vision",
"duration": 180,
"amplifier": 0,
"particles": false
}
]
}
Config File Explanation
- item: The ID of the food item (must be consumable).
- buffs: A list of effects applied to the player when the food is consumed.
- type: The buff type (currently only effect is supported).
- id: The ID of the effect to apply.
- duration: The duration of the effect in seconds.
- amplifier: The effect level, starting at 0 (0 = Level I, 1 = Level II, etc.).
- particles: Enables or disables the effect's particles.
Disabling Food Buffs
To disable all additional buffs for a specific food item, simply leave the buffs array empty.
For example, to disable the buffs for a golden carrot:
{
"item": "minecraft:golden_carrot",
"buffs": []
}
This disables the additional effects provided by Adventurer's Feast without affecting the food's vanilla properties.
