About this project
What does Before The Fall add?
Before The Fall
The world after a nuclear flash. Quieter than you remember. More dangerous than you can imagine.
Before The Fall is a survival mod set in the aftermath of a nuclear catastrophe that will change the familiar world of Minecraft forever.
For the first few days, life goes on as usual. You still have time to build a shelter, stock up on food, and prepare your equipment. The radio is already broadcasting warnings, but no one knows exactly when the bombs will fall.
Sooner or later, the final siren will sound. Then comes the blinding flash, the shockwave, and the destruction.

As time passes, the surface turns into a radioactive wasteland. Forests burn, animals begin to disappear, and resources you once took for granted become increasingly scarce. You'll have to venture outside, expand your shelter, and adapt to a world that keeps changing around you.
And before long, you'll discover that you're far from the only survivor.
Main Features
- Nuclear Catastrophe. A nuclear strike with emergency warnings, a massive explosion, shockwaves, and lasting consequences for the world.
- Radiation. Radiation exposure, accumulated doses, radiation sickness, contaminated items, protective suits, gas masks, and decontamination systems.
- Shelter Building. Airtight rooms, radiation shielding, ventilation, power systems, sensors, alarms, and automated safety equipment.
- Technology. Industrial machinery, electrical networks, pumps, steam turbines, and a fully functional nuclear reactor with complex controls and cooling systems.
- Disasters. Radiation surges, acid rain, ash storms, electromagnetic pulses, earthquakes, flooding, and other threats.
- Exploration. Abandoned shelters, mines, ruined structures, documents, and traces of life before the catastrophe.

Stories Hidden in the Radio Waves
After the catastrophe, radio becomes one of the few ways to find out what's happening beyond the walls of your shelter.
Tune into different frequencies, intercept radio messages, and discover recordings left behind by other survivors. The mod features several standalone storylines, each with its own characters, events, and endings.
Through fragmented transmissions, documents, and messages from across the wasteland, you'll piece together the stories of people who lived through the disaster. Some stories intersect, while others reveal new details about what happened to the world.
A World That Lives on Its Own
You're not the only one trying to survive.
The mod features a dynamic simulation of survivor groups and settlements. Each faction has its own population, resources, relationships with neighboring groups, and interests.
Over time, settlements grow or decline, form alliances, fight over resources, and lose people or territory. Factions can split apart, disappear entirely, or be replaced by new groups.
You can become part of this changing world. Establish radio contact, trade supplies, help other survivors, take on assignments, and influence your relationships with different factions.
But not everyone is friendly. Armed raiders may demand supplies, launch attacks, or attempt to break into your shelter.
The world keeps moving, even when you're busy fighting for your own survival.

Survive Together
Before The Fall supports both singleplayer and multiplayer.
Build a shared shelter, develop your infrastructure, explore the wasteland, and make decisions together as you fight to survive.
