About this project

What does Bones' Machines add?

Bones’ Machines

A complete tech set for NeoForge 1.21.1: power, machines, storage and an all-in-one pipe system. It’s built to work alongside other tech mods instead of replacing them.

⚡ Power

  • Stirling Generator: burns anything a furnace can.
  • Magma Generator: runs on lava.
  • Compression Generator: burns liquid fuels from other mods (Thermal, Create, Immersive Engineering, PneumaticCraft, EnderIO…).
  • Energy Cell: stores power, charges or drains items, and shows its charge on the front.

⚙️ Machines

  • Magma Crucible: cobblestone, netherrack and more into lava.
  • Ice Machine: ice, packed ice or blue ice from water.
  • Electric Furnace: a furnace that runs on power.
  • Alloy Smelter: 2 or 3 inputs, with EnderIO-style alloys.
  • Ore Processor: ore doubling with catalysts and byproducts.
  • Sawmill: extra planks plus sawdust, including modded wood.
  • Press: plates, gears, packing and unpacking.
  • Centrifuge: splits items into their parts.
  • Growth Chamber: grows crops, saplings and flowers, modded crops too.
  • Fluid Transposer: fills and empties items, and bottles XP into Bottles o’ Enchanting.
  • XP Collector: soaks up XP from mob farms and banks your levels.
  • Cobble Generator: cobblestone, stone, deepslate, basalt and blackstone.
  • Water Pump: endless water.

Every machine has:

  • Side configuration (Input / Output / Both / Off per face)
  • Push and Pull buttons
  • Speed, Efficiency, Capacity and Output upgrades
  • Hover hints that show what goes in each slot

🔌 Conduit bundles

Item, fluid, energy and redstone conduits can share one block, EnderIO-style. They come in Basic, Improved and Elite tiers.

  • Each face can be set to In / Out / Both / Off, with channel colors, redstone control, filters, priority and round robin.
  • Fluid pipes hold fluid. A run fills from the source and stays full while there’s more to send. It only empties when the source runs dry.
  • Glass pipes: craft an item or fluid conduit with any glass block to make it see-through. Watch fluid fill the pipe and items ride along inside.
  • Look at any pipe to see what it’s carrying, for example “Water: 350 / 500 mB”, “Moving: Cobblestone (12 per second)” or “Moving: 240 FE/t”. Great for finding out why something on the other side of your base stopped working.

🧰 Extras

  • Wrench: rotates machines and picks them up with their contents kept.
  • Fluid Tank: keeps its fluid when broken.
  • Trash Can
  • Machine Frame
  • Plates, gears, sawdust and Liquid Experience

🤝 Plays nicely with other mods

Bones’ Machines uses common c: tags for plates, gears, dusts, wrenches and XP fluid. If another mod already adds plates or gears, ours hide themselves and theirs are used instead. Liquid Experience works with other mods’ XP fluids.

Requires: NeoForge 1.21.1
Optional: JEI (adds recipe pages for every machine)

Made for the Vintage Virtual Vibes modpack. Feel free to use it in your own packs.
