Remember the first time you heard about OreSpawn? Digging up a random block and getting a dinosaur. Watching a moth the size of a skyscraper drift across the sky. Finishing your house, only to learn that the Kraken doesn't respect roofs.

NewSpawn brings that chaos back to Minecraft 1.12.2. It's a fan-made port of the classic OreSpawn by TheyCallMeDanger, rebuilt to bring back the feeling that your world just got way too big for you.

It's built in and only kicks in when those mods are installed. ProjectE: every NewSpawn item gets an EMC value. Avaritia: new singularities and Infinity versions of NewSpawn's 3D weapons.

Browse creatures, items, blocks and dimensions from your other mods right in the /orespawn menu. In creative, you can spawn mobs, grab items and blocks, and teleport to other dimensions, all with a single click!

⭐NEW: Additional Structures! (31/10/2026)

171 extra structures (on top of OreSpawn's own) that you can enable to generate in the Overworld, the Nether or The End. They all start disabled, and bigger structures are rarer so they don't bog down your world.

What you'll rediscover

• Monsters on another level: Take on the T-Rex, Basilisk, Kyuubi, Kraken, Mothra and Mobzilla. And if you're feeling brave, The King and The Queen, the giant dragons that rule the skies.
• Fossils underground: Mine fossil blocks and turn them into creature eggs. Every cave could be your next new pet, or your next big mistake.
• 6 dimensions to explore: Utopia, Mining, VillageMania, Islands, Crystal and Chaos. To travel, just click the right bugs with an empty hand.
• Legendary gear: Ultimate, ruby, amethyst and crystal armor and tools. And the Big Bertha, a sword so ridiculous it takes parts from a whole list of monsters to make.
• Real companions: Tame creatures like the Cephadrome, Leonopteryx and Water Dragon. Raise The Prince from a hatchling into a giant as big as his father. Or get yourself a Girlfriend or Boyfriend to fight by your side.
• Structures worth raiding: Enormous castles, pyramids, robot labs and haunted houses, packed with chests and monster spawners.

What only NewSpawn has

The /orespawn menu (O key). Think of it as an in-game encyclopedia, with creatures and structures shown in 3D:

• Creatures: Where and when each one spawns, what it can drop and how often it shows up.
• Tameables: How to tame each creature, what it eats and what it's good for.
• Tamed: All your pets, even in other dimensions, with their name, health, days alive and kills. You can make them sit or bring them straight to you.
• Blocks, Items, Structures and Dimensions: Recipes, how to use things, where they come from and how to reach each dimension.
• Per-world settings: Change the spawns however you like, and each world keeps its own rules.
• Creative mode: Spawn creatures, grab items and place structures with a preview first.

The Gamma Metroid miner. Tame a Gamma and it mines for you:

• It levels up to 100 and grows stronger from what it mines.
• It has its own chest and item magnet, and finds its way around obstacles.
• It unlocks skins as it levels up, all the way to the rainbow RGB skin.
• Its Security Mode protects its owner, and it will never hurt you.

Health bars with style:

• Bosses: A bar at the top of the screen, with a skull and the boss's name, even when the boss is far away.
• Pets: Bars in the corner of the screen, with a heart medallion, that change color as their health drops.

New items and combos:

• Wings of Creation: Hold them in either hand and fly, even in survival.
• Elemental Apple: 20 yellow hearts, effects that last three times as long and regeneration that's 3x faster.
• Enchanted Golden Apple: It's craftable now.
• Mobzilla Armor + Big Bertha: The set built to bring down royalty. Each hit from The King or The Queen takes 2 hearts at most, while the sword deals 1500 damage to them and reaches 20 blocks.

A more alive world:

• Giant Sequoias: Massive trees to explore.
• Territories: Emperor Scorpions in the deserts, Water Dragon lairs in the oceans and Spit Bug nests across forests and plains.
• Better-balanced spawning: Creatures get their own spawn caps, so the mod's monsters share space better with the vanilla ones.
• 3D items: Giant 3D weapons that sit diagonally in your inventory, just like swords.

The world got bigger. You stayed the same size. Good luck.
