About this project
What does Coraljade add?
CoralJade
Gem-themed plants for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge).
Crops
**Diamond Bush** — grows through four stages (seedling, vine, bush, gem bush). Right-click a fully grown bush to harvest 2–3 diamonds; the bush stays and regrows. Seeds are crafted from 4 diamonds around 1 wheat seed. The seedling glows with light 5, all grown stages with light 12.
**Jade Vine** — a hanging vine with a sprout tip. The sprout grows downwards while there is air below, leaving a vine behind; vines bear fruit and can be picked for 2–3 emeralds. Seeds are crafted from 4 emeralds around 1 wheat seed.
Corals
**Lapis Coral** — lives only in water. If it dries out it bleaches, stops growing and drops nothing when broken. Both the small and the large living form glow with light 15; the large one releases bubbles and grants 10 seconds of Water Breathing to entities standing inside it. Picking it yields 2–3 lapis lazuli. When harvested or broken it turns back into a seedling, and a seedling has a 33% chance to mutate into ice coral instead of growing up.
**Ice Coral** — the mutated form. It survives outside of water and glows with light 15. Breaking or picking it drops coral seeds (20% chance) and 2–3 ice, with a small burst of snowflakes.
Seeds are crafted from 4 lapis lazuli around 1 wheat seed.
Fungus
**Amethyst Fungus** — glows with light 5 and drops 4–6 amethyst shards when broken. It slowly spreads to a nearby free spot when no other amethyst fungus is within the 8 surrounding blocks. Crafted from 4 amethyst shards around a brown or red mushroom.
