The Echoes of a Shattered Sky

The world of Shattered Scales is built on the ruins of a forgotten cataclysm. Long before the skies were divided between the blazing wrath of the Sun and the abyssal void of the Moon, humanity sought to control forces beyond their understanding.

Driven by desperation and fear of the awakening beasts, a high mage delved into the unstable, raw magic hidden within emeralds. The arcane power was too volatile to be tamed. The resulting corruption twisted his mind and body, leaving behind a dark legacy and a fractured world.

Now, the ordinary villagers live in a state of perpetual terror. They are caught in the crossfire of a brutal era—hunted by the very dragons that rule the skies, and oppressed by the Inquisition's ruthless zealots who will burn everything to ground just to find their prey.

The ancient shrines have been buried beneath deepslate, and the true history of the Draco and Vesper lineages is scattered in the bloodstained journals of survivors. As a newly awakened dragon, you are hunted by a world that fears you. You must survive the Inquisition, reclaim your lost heritage, and uncover what truly shattered the world.
