About this project
What does Itematrix add?
Your entire network is encrypted with AES-GCM and saved as .dat files in world/itematrix/<uuid>.dat, so your inventory travels with the world folder when you share it, but can't be trivially edited. Each player starts with 32 item types and can upgrade through Typematrix Fragments, Lattices, and Singularities all the way to infinite types, with up to 2,147,483,647 of each item - quintillions of items total. Open the Vault GUI and Shift+Click to instantly deposit from your hotbar, with live pretty-name search, tiny count rendering for millions/billions, and cyan styling.
To automate it, use the Itematrix Sender and Receiver - wall, floor, and ceiling mountable importers and exporters. Place one on any inventory like a chest or furnace, and it automatically chunk-forces itself and the attached inventory so it works in any dimension - Overworld, Nether, or End - even while you're in another dimension or offline. Right-click the Sender or Receiver with any item in hand to set its filter, and it will only pull or push that item; Shift+Right-Click with an empty hand clears the filter and sets it inactive. The Vault, Senders, and Receivers all share the same encrypted per-player storage, making cross-dimensional automation and LAN or dedicated server play seamless.
Update: Added Bulk Sender and Bulk Receiver (has no filter; lets you send/receive everything).
Update: Added Enchant support. This should have always existed. My sincerest apologies. 💔
Update: Senders and Receivers now work underwater. Balanced Tier Recipes.
Note: To apply updates to this mod, you'll need to withdraw your precious belongings first, delete the itematrix folder in your world save, and restart the game. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Obtain an Echo Shard to unlock the Itematrix Recipe Chain.
