About this project

What does Hardcore Rescue add?

**Hardcore Rescue** brings the thrilling SMP revival mechanic seen in popular YouTube videos straight to your Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 server!

✨ Key Features:

* **Bleedout & Knockdown:** When players take fatal damage in Hardcore mode, they are knocked down into a crawling state instead of dying instantly.
* **Coordinate Broadcast:** Automatically shares the downed player's exact coordinates and dimension in chat so teammates can find them.
* **3D Timer & Particles:** Spawns a floating countdown hologram above the player's body and splatters redstone blood around them.
* **Teammate Revives:** Living teammates can crouch (Shift) and right-click the downed player to revive them with a progress bar and sound effects.
* **Configurable Death Ban:** If the countdown timer hits zero without a rescue, the player is permanently killed (preserving their original death message) and temporarily banned for 3 days (fully configurable).
* **Total Lockout:** Locks hotbars, item usage, block breaking, and inventory throwing while downed, plus anti-combat logging protection.
