What does Starfall X add?

Starfall

The sky is falling — and it’s bringing treasures.

Starfall adds dynamic meteor events to your Minecraft world. When night falls, meteors crash from the sky, carving craters into the landscape and leaving behind rare Astral Ore and hostile Stellar Spectres.

Features

Meteor Events

Meteors strike randomly at night near players, creating craters filled with Crater Stone and veins of Astral Ore. Each impact spawns glowing Stellar Spectres — floating hostile mobs that guard the crash site.

New Gear

Mine Astral Ore and smelt it into Astral Ingots to craft a full set of equipment:

  • Astral Armor — Between diamond and netherite tier, with knockback resistance
  • Astral Sword — Right-click for an AOE meteor strike that damages and knocks back all nearby enemies (3s cooldown)
  • Astral Pickaxe — Mines in a 3x1 vertical column

Boss Fight: The Celestial Guardian

Craft a Stellar Altar from obsidian, diamonds, and star fragments. Place 4 Star Fragments on it to summon the Celestial Guardian — a 300 HP boss with a boss bar, heavy armor, and devastating melee attacks. Defeat it to earn the Star Heart, the mod’s ultimate crafting material.

New Blocks

  • Crater Stone — dark stone found in meteor craters, can be polished
  • Star Glass — translucent glowing glass, smelted from Star Dust
  • Stellar Altar — used to summon the boss

Getting Started

  1. Wait for nightfall and listen for meteor impacts
  2. Find a crater and mine the Astral Ore
  3. Smelt ingots and craft your gear
  4. Collect 4 Star Fragments from Stellar Spectres
  5. Build a Stellar Altar and summon the Celestial Guardian

Requires Fabric Loader and Fabric API for Minecraft 1.21.1
