Inkwell

A world map that draws itself as you explore.

World map (M)

• 2D map in real block colors, with soft relief shading
• 3D view: keep zooming in and the map tilts into real blocks, with the game's own textures (resource packs included). Right-drag to rotate, left-drag to move
• The sky follows the time of day: sunsets, stars at night, darker terrain under the moon
• Middle click anywhere for quick actions: add a waypoint, teleport, share the location, copy coordinates

Minimap (N)

• Square or round, any corner, fixed north or rotating
• Optional 3D minimap
• Shows nearby players (their skin's face) and mobs (their own face, red frame when hostile)
• Sneaking players stay hidden

Cave mode

• Underground, the map switches to the cave you're in on its own
• Or pick a fixed height, or turn it off, from the button on the map

Waypoints

• Markers in the world: aim at one to see its name and how many blocks are left
• Track any waypoint: the HUD shows distance and direction, even when it's off screen
• Click a waypoint on the map to edit, track, teleport to or delete it
• Automatic waypoints at nether portals

Deaths

• Where you die becomes your Last death, tracked until you get back there
• Previous deaths become Old death (or turn them off and keep only the last one)

Sharing

• Share a waypoint in chat: other Inkwell players get a clickable [+ Add]
• Also recognizes waypoints shared by Xaero's Minimap users
• /inkwell export saves your waypoints (JSON + Xaero's format) and a PNG of the whole explored map

Import

Bring your waypoints from Xaero's Minimap, JourneyMap and VoxelMap.

Client side only, works on any server. Requires Fabric API. English and Italian translations.
