About this project

What does Bankware add?

🏦 Bankware — A Real Bank Inside Minecraft

Bankware adds a full banking system to Minecraft, with its own currency, an ATM, cards that scale up in tier, reinforced vaults, and even tools to crack them open. Open your account, keep your money safe… or make it your business to crack everyone else's.

✨ Features

  • 💳 Accounts and cards — Open an account at the bank teller and level up your card as your balance grows: Rusty → Classic → Steel → Gold → Supreme.
  • 🏧 ATM — Deposit and withdraw bills by denomination and amount, 24/7.
  • 👛 Wallet — A personal wearable item, dyeable with any of the 16 vanilla colors.
  • 🎒 Duffel bag — Equip it in the back slot (via Curios) to carry your loot.
  • 🔒 Reinforced vaults and safe deposit boxes — Withstand several charges of TNT before breaking, and protect anything behind the door.
  • 🗝️ Keycard doors and mini vaults with a key — Bound to a specific card or key; without it, there's no way to open or break them by hand.
  • 🚨 Alarms and metal detector — Redstone-triggered security, airport style.
  • 🛠️ Rechargeable drill — Drill through vault doors and safe deposit boxes; recharge it with batteries.
  • 🧱 Reinforced blocks — Reinforced iron (plus textured variants) and bars, for building your own bank.
  • 💵 Argentine peso bills — From $1 to $20,000, with bundles (money stacks) craftable both ways.

🚀 How to get things

Everything is obtained through commands /give, meant for an admin to set up the server's economy.

Available commands:

  • /bankware balance <player> [set|add|remove] <amount> — View or adjust the digital balance of an existing account.
  • /bankware money give <player> ars <denomination> <count> — Hand out physical loose bills.
  • /bankware menu <player> — Open the bank teller menu for a player.

🔧 Dependencies

Mod Required Notes
NeoForge ✅ Yes 1.21.1
Curios API ✅ Yes 9.0 or higher
Easy NPC 💡 Recommended To place a teller/employee NPC in your bank

⚠️ Notice

This is the first public release of Bankware. As an early version, you may run into bugs — please report them on the project page.

Bankware runs its own economy in Argentine pesos, saved per world. Ideal for roleplay or city servers — since everything is obtained via command, an admin can tailor the economy without relying on crafting recipes. Whatever you keep in a vault, someone with a drill and enough patience can take from you.

This is just the start: there's still a lot to add to make the mod even better. Ideas and suggestions are welcome.
