About this project
What does Mob Settings add?
Mob Settings
Customize mob drops, spawning, stats, damage, experience and despawning in Minecraft — for both vanilla and modded mobs!
Mob Settings is a lightweight, highly configurable mod that gives you control over how mobs behave in your world, through an in-game config screen or a simple config file.
Want zombies to drop diamonds, bats to spawn on beaches, creepers to stop spawning in plains, blazes to appear only in one modded dimension, tankier skeletons, mobs that take double damage in the Nether, or double experience there too? Mob Settings makes it possible.
Features
- Custom drops — remove items from a mob's loot, or add extra drops with a custom chance, amount, Looting support and item data.
- Custom spawning — remove, reduce or add natural biome spawns, change spawn group sizes, and restrict spawns by light level.
- Per-dimension rules — set spawns, attributes, damage and experience differently in each dimension.
- Attribute, damage and experience control — override a mob's health, speed, armor, damage and size, multiply damage dealt/taken, and multiply experience dropped.
- Despawn ranges — choose how far from players a mob can be before it despawns.
- Entity and biome tags — target whole groups of mobs or biomes, or every mob/biome from a given mod.
- In-game config screen — edit everything from the Mods menu with searchable ID lists and dedicated item/entity data editors.
- Works with modded mobs — anything registered in the game can be configured by its ID.
