About this project

What does Useful DNS add?

This mod started as a way to make the DNS Techpack more fun. Things in this mod made other mods work better. Every version of the mod changes with the different versions of the pack. For example, In the 1.6.4 version I added a Philosophers stone. At the time EE2/3 was dead and Projecte was not yet a thing. I needed the p-stone for a map we were making. Once the pack started using Projecte, our p-stone was no longer needed. So it was removed. As more mods begin using things we had in the mod, I took them out. Mainly meaning, the mod changes all the time. Some stuff is added and some stuff is removed. So for this reason this mod is always changing.

This is the original versions of the mod. At one point IamOmicron took it over, but as since abandoned the mod. The current developer is now StackDoubleFlow. But he too seems to have forgotten it. Im maintaining it now.

1.16.5

All version also include recipes for vanilla items that dont have a crafting recipe. IE, ender pearls, obsidian, nether stars. things like this. NEI will help you.

1.12.2 Version

V5.x.x is a carbon copy of the 1.11.2 version. Only thing added was Liquid RF. It wont do anything unless used with the DNS Techpack at the moment. But in that pack it will store RF. Right now its worth 20 million RF. It can be made in a machine and another machine will turn it back into rf. Just a fancy way to store rf in RS systems or stuff like that.

1.11.2 Version

Steel:

raw steel can be cooked into steel ingots
Steel rods are used for Crafting

Portable Cobblegen - right click and will place a stack of cobble in your inventory (also works in EU2 Mec. users)

Madcocks Staff - A sword that is very powerful (for those that dont care about the fighting aspects of MC)

Mud pies - fills hunger bar and very cheap (for those that dont care for the eating aspect of MC)

Swiss Army Knife - Multi tool, works on sands, woods, and stone, also does some small damage as a sword. Also mine vanilla ores with this tool. Give drop bonuses on Vanilla ores.

Money and Money Bags - basically a way to store EMC. Each dollar or bag has the same emc value as its face
Ground Flesh and People Burgers - New food from rotten flesh

DecaNySodium Gems and Blocks. Building blocks for portals to Mad's World
Mad's World - New dimension rich with a few resources, use a madcock's travel staff to lit the portal

flashlight - give night vision while in your inventory

Compressed Coal Blocks - Convert to diamond blocks when compress with a TNT explosion

All recipes can be find in JEI or NEI

The dollars and money bags are for use with Projecte. Basically are a was to store EMC

DNS tools are just great tools, nothing major

Compress coal will turn to diamond blocks when further compressed with an explosion

Time watch is a remake of MCwizard time watch. Same function. will change time when right clicked.
Dragon spawner - placed in the end will spawn a dragon

Raw iron comes from right clicking the steel hammer on iron ore.
