About this project
What does Better Boilers add?
Better Boilers
Better Boilers features multiblock Boilers and Turbines for generating steam and converting steam into power. The focus of this mod is make highly modular multiblocks with only loose rules players need to conform to. The goal is efficient, minimal lag multiblocks and power generation with as much immersion as possible, that are compatible with as many tech mods as possible.
UPDATE: 2026 I have finally got back to modding and I have almost completely re-written the entire project. From this point forward consider the old files prior to 2026 as completely incompatible with the new versions and backup your worlds before updating.
The rework is ongoing and so textures are awful and expect many many bugs.
All issues in the original issues tracker should now be solved, please report any new issues that come up.
The Turbine has been re-written from scratch, as has all of the multiblock code, network layer, gui system and all of the internal data structures. If you need help making a working turbine, please come and ping me in my discord for now - DrUltraLux
