About this project

What does Shipwrecks! add?

Sloop

Description

Adds ships to the world generation and a diving suit to make underwater exploration easier. Currently adds rowboats, sailboats (upright and sideways), sloops, schooners, and the Waverunner to oceans and beaches.

Features

Random generation for each ship (various torn sails, holes in the hull, and broken masts). A config with options for rarity and min/max distance between ships.
The larger the ship the better the loot (rowboats have nothing, they are purely cosmetic).
Also adds a Diving Suit! The full suit adds the ability to breath underwater by giving the player the waterbreathing buff (which also slightly improves underwater vision. The suit is fairly durable and strong (as well as not being too expensive) however each piece of armor adds slowness when you are not in the water.

Waverunner (with greatly increased spawn rates)

(the spawn rates were greatly increased to show the variations in the Waverunner for this shot)

Compatibility:

This mod should be compatible with any mods though wrecks may not generate in modded ocean or beach biomes (depending on the naming convention of said mods).

Credits:

The sloop and waverunner were designed by MCElex. You can check out more of his ships here.
