About this project

What does Challenge Advancements add?

This Datapack adds thirteen advancements (two of which are hidden).

The advancements can be found in-game under the 'Challenge Advancements' tab with the green book:

A screenshot of the 'Challenge Advancements' tab in-game. Accessed by pressing L by default.

Each advancement comes with a reward banner as a sort of trophy, these banners are not craftable in vanilla survival due to having more than six layers.

A screenshot of all the Reward Banners in-game; the A Jack Of All Trees banner depicts a tree with a gnarled twisting truck, the Dedicated Gardener banner depicts vines with splashes of colour, the Bow Before Me banner depicts a sun emblem and a grey background with gold stitches, The Nether's Champion banner is a design invoking flames, The Ocean's Champion banner depicts a Turtle Shell underwater, the For The Record banner depicts a Music Disc designed not to look like any particular in-game disc, the Smited banner depicts Lightning, the Knight of the Realm banner depicts a shield with a golden metal centre, the All-terrain Expert banner attempts to incorporate it's four relevant environments, the Titan Slayer banner depicts a dark monster breaking through a stone wall, the Indiana Jones banner Depicts what is best described as a temple in a forest and finally, the Being Sneaky Are You banner depicts a white potion particle on a blue background.

The reward for the 'An Acquired Taste' advancement is a Bundle containing Music Discs with songs which you can't normally play in a jukebox in Survival. (including Alpha, Chrysopoeia, Dragon Fish, Wet Hands, pokopoko & more).
Due to technical limitations I can't put each individual song on it's own disc.
This Datapack uses the jukebox_song experimental setting, any custom Music Discs lose their sound events (which is what makes them play different songs) when the Datapack is uninstalled.

This image is showing off the various custom music discs granted as a reward for completing the 'An Acquired Taste' Advancement.
