What does Future Versions add?

Future Versions adds items, blocks, and features from Minecraft 1.13, 1.14, 1.15, and 1.16 to your 1.12, 1.14, and 1.15 Minecraft worlds! It allows you to play with your favorite 1.12, 1.14, and 1.15 mods without sacrificing the features of future versions of Minecraft.

Currently, this mod has a ton of features from the 1.13, 1.14, 1.15, and 1.16 update.

Here is a full of list of all of the features added by Future Versions (please note: there are lots of smaller changes not listed here, a full list of every change is coming soon):

1.13 Features

Blue Ice - A new, more slippery, version of packed ice.

Uncarved Pumpkins - Pumpkins that don't have a face. They are great for decoration!

Coral Blocks - Both dead and alive versions of all types of coral blocks.

Coral - Coral and Coral Fans are tall grass-like blocks that go with Coral.

Prismarine Slabs & Stairs - All 3 variants of prismarine as both stairs and slabs.

Wood - Blocks of wood with the log texture on all sides

Stripped Logs & Wood - Both logs and wood without the bark.

Petrified Oak Slab - An oak slab that does not burn

Potion of Slow Falling - A potion that allows you to not take any fall damage

Smooth Quartz, Sandstone, and Red Sandstone - New smoother versions of great building blocks.

Tridents - A powerful new weapon that can be used in both long and close-range combat.

New Trapdoors - New trapdoors for each wood type.

Icebergs - A new ice biome that spawns in oceans

1.14 Features

Bamboo - A naturally spawning plant that grows upwards.

Barrels - A great alternative to chests for hiding storage or for tight spaces.

Bells - A noise-making device that can be activated manually or with redstone.

Blast furnace - Currently, a decorative block that makes any industrial setting look good.

Campfires - A firey new block that can be turned on and off as well as produces smoke.

Cartography table - Currently, a decorative block that makes any foresty setting look good.

Composter - A new work station that can be used to turn crops into bone meal.

Fletching table - Currently, a decorative block that matches birch styled homes.

"Old" Machines - Past textures of blocks such as Campfires, Cartography Tables, and more.

New Flowers - New flowers such as the Cornflower, Lily of the Valley, and the Wither Rose.

Grindstone - Currently, a decorative block that makes any industrial setting look good.

Lanterns - A new decorative light source that adds more detail than a standard torch.

Lectern - Currently, a decorative block that makes any setting with books look good.

Loom - Currently, a decorative block that has interesting textures that can be used in many ways.

Scaffolding - An interesting block that can be walked through and has many of its vanilla properties.

New Slabs, Walls, and Stairs - A bunch of new slabs, walls, and stairs including things like andesite, red nether brick, and more.

Smithing Table - A new crafting station that can be used to forge Netherite tools and armor.

Smoker - Currently, a decorative block that works well in any industrial build.

Berry Bushes - A new form of food found naturally in Taiga biomes. They grow naturally but can also be bonemealed to gather sweet berries.

New Dye - Replacements for lapis, bonemeal, ink sacs, and cocoa beans.

Suspicious Stew - A new food item that contains mysterious potion effects that can be crafted with flowers.

1.15 Features

Bee nests - A new honey-producing block to spice up your forests.

Beehives - An artificial bee nest that has a more man-made aesthetic

Honey block - An interesting new block with strange mechanics.

Honeycombs - A new item used in crafting

Honeycomb Block - A new decorative block made from honeycombs.

Honey Bottles - A new drinkable item that gives hunger, can be crafted into sugar, and removes poison.

1.16 Changes

Crimson and Warped Forest - A new Nether biomes that have custom generation.

Soul Sand Valley Biome - A new Nether biome that gives you access to new resources.

Blackstone - A new type of stone with many variants

Basalt - Hardened Lava that forms in pillars throughout the nether.

Polished Basalt - A polished form of Basalt that is a nice decorative block.

Ancient Debris - A rare mineral that can be processed into Netherite.

Netherite and Netherite Tools/Armor - A new mineral that is more powerful than diamond. It is accompanied by new armor and tools.

Crimson and Warped Fungi, Nylium, Planks, Stems, Roots, Hyphae, Vines, and other items found in new biomes throughout the nether.

Crimson Forest and Warped Forest - New biomes within the nether that give you access to new blocks and items.

Twisted and Weeping Vines - Two new vines that grow within the nether.

Warped Wart Block - A warped version of the Nether Wart Version found within the Warped Forest.

Nether Sprouts - A new grass-like block found within the Warped Forest.

Shroomlight - A new light source found within the nether.

Soul Soil - A new variant of Soul Sand that does not slow you down.

Soul Fire - Blue fire that can be created by lighting soul sand or soul soil on fire.

Soul Torches and Soul Campfires - New fiery blocks based around the new form of fire.

Nether Brick Variations - New versions of Nether Brick to add more detail to Nether Builds.

New Fences - Both Warped and Crimson fences to add more details to builds.

Nether Gold - A new ore found within the nether that can be mined for gold nuggets.

Target - A new block that is currently non-functional.

Crying Obsidian - A new variant of obsidian that currently can only be used in crafting.

Respawn Anchor - A new block that you can charge up with glowstone and blows up in the overworld. There is no respawn functionality yet.

Warped and Crimson Trapdoors - New trapdoors based on the new woods.

New Stairs and Slabs - New nether based slabs and stairs such as Warped, Crimson, Blackstone, and more.

Chain - A new decorative item that works well with lanterns and mob spawners

Pigstep - A new nether music disc

Quartz Bricks - A new quartz variant

New Wall Mechanics - Walls become smooth when placed on top of each other.
