About this project
What does FunItems Mod add?
What is the FunItems Mod?
The FunItems Mod is a mod that adds Terraria inspired early, mid, and late-game items to the game making it more progressive. I recommend always downloading the latest update to enjoy improved systems and content.
If you encounter ghost textures due to OptiFine, there should be a way to configure it.
Key Features:
This mod goes beyond simply adding items, it includes weird and experimental stuff for players to mess around.
Item Abilities: Most items come with unique abilities, rather than just having their attack damage increased. These abilities can trigger on hold, right-click, hit, left-click, wearing a full set, or when you acquire a full set bonus. Be sure to check the Images section for detailed information.
Soul Stones: These stones serve as containers for capturing mobs, somewhat like pokeballs.
Lootbags: Currently, only two vanilla bosses have their exclusive lootbags along with Lootkeepers. Lootbags can reward you with mid to high-value materials or offer two unique set piece drops.
Magic Table: This is a block for working with larger quantities of materials that won't fit in the standard crafting table. It has its own user-friendly GUI. A basic Magic Table crafting recipe typically includes four essential item types: the first slot for the material (which can be various items), the second slot for the appropriate amount and tier of Essence of Greed, the third slot for the correct tier and quantity of Power Crystal, and the fourth slot for the blueprint. The blueprint is the only item that won't be consumed during the crafting process and has an infinite number of uses.
Lootkeepers: These are minibosses categorized into five tiers: Painful, Excruciating, Fatal, Infernal, and Undefeatable, or simply I, II, III, IV, V.

With each tier Lootkeepers gain additional power with 250 HP, 8 Armor, and 8 Attack Damage being added at each tier. Tier progression also increases the quality of their drops. However, Tier V Lootkeepers are exceptionally strong they have all modifiers simultaneously. They inflict double damage on their third hit, have 80% damage reduction, and 1750 HP. Even with the best equipment, they are nearly unbeatable.
The chance of encountering a Lootkeeper in the game is 1 in 300. Additionally, there is a summoning jewel available to summon them, although it is used up upon calling. The Lootbags they drop are the only source for acquiring precious Offhand Items.

Crafting and Gathering
You can easily access basic crafted items in the crafting table through Just Enough Items (JEI). However, please note that there is currently no JEI support for the Magictable crafts, so you'll need to check them in-game.
Magictable Craftings:
To find out about the crafting recipes for Magictable items, simply right-click with the blueprints in-game to choose the desired item and view all the necessary ingredients. You can find additional assistance in the Images section, and this video may also be helpful.
Essence of Greed:
When a mob is killed, a Lesser Essence of Greed will drop. If you collect 60 of the same tier in your inventory, they will combine to form one tier higher.
- 60x Lesser Essence of Greed (LEoG) -> 1x Essence of Greed (EoG)
- 60x Essence of Greed (EoG) -> 1x Greater Essence of Greed (GEoG)
Darkness Gems:
- Darkness Gems can be acquired in two ways:
- They have a 2.5% chance of dropping when you defeat an Enderman.
- The Ender Dragon drops them with a 25% chance when it dies.
Icy Shards:
- You can obtain Icy Shards by mining ice, with a 25% chance of getting one.
